Jennifer, you are truly the queen of paper crafting, in my opinion. I enjoy many crafting videos/ teachers, but you are just so excellent. Being fairly new, I have to stick to more of the basics. But, for so long, I’ve wanted to learn how to paper piece correctly. I really thank you for the time you take in sharing your crafty talents. You are appreciated. 💕 I wish you’d offer some type of “crafting camp” school. I need it 😀
Jennifer, this idea is truly amazing. You always find the most unique ways of using our supplies and your cards are always beautiful. All those pencil and crayon cards are so lovely and I for one am thrilled that you are a little crazy, just like most crafters. We are very blessed to have you in this industry.
Actually Jennifer I don’t mind watching a 30 minute video of yours because you pack so much into each one that is of value to all cardmakers. In fact, I prefer longer over shorter. You keep us engaged no matter the length. I have been making cards for close to 30 years, and even though I have done many (not all) of the techniques you show, I still learn and am fascinated by your natural ability to engage. Your voice is great, you show the examples just long enough (and multiple times - I love that!), you demonstrate techniques so that all of us can understand and learn. I know you are revered in the industry, and the reason is because you deserve the praise. Thank you for continuing to share your love of card making and crafting with all of us. It is very much appreciated.
This riveting tutorial hit the spot for me. My big takeaway is the reminder that we are only limited by our imagination. So whatever the medium we incorporate; anything works! Thank you Jennifer. Love the pencils best. Blessings 💙
Yikes Jennifer!!!! Your fussy cutting and your detailing of your projects is simply amazing!!!!! I never thought to stamp on patterned paper...you opened up a new avenue in crafting for me! Much thanks!!!!
Your creativity is boundless, Jennifer! And your presentation style is lovely...so warm, enthusiastic, encouraging and inspiring. Thanks for all you do!!
I love your way of doing demos and you are the queen of ideas BUT the biggest love is that you too like fussy cutting. I love fussy cutting as gives me proper switch of time as have to focus on what doing. As you said I too find it therapeutic. Thank-you for your down to earth, kind and gentle way xxx
Hello everyone! I just wanted to thank you for leaving kind comments. It amazes me the kindness in this industry. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time out of your busy day to watch my looooooong videos... and then leave kindness in a comment. THANK YOU. Hugs all around. :) ALSO - if you want more ideas for using patterned papers, try out this class: www.onlinecardclasses.com/product/pattern-play/
Oh my gosh! I absolutely ADORE the teacher cards! I love all your ideas, but I can’t say I love fussy cutting. Ick. But the crayons and pencils are definitely doable for me. I don’t have any children in local schools anymore (I homeschool my youngest), but I want to support them in the hard work they do...now I know how I’ll do just that! Thanks for this video...and NONE of your videos are “long”...quite the contrary. When I’m watching your videos, the time flies!
Just finished watching this for the second time...I needed a fresh way to use more of my patterned papers. This has inspired me to get busy! Thanks so much. I always learn something new from your videos. This one reminds me how grateful I am to be part of a HUGE crafting community and that we have so much to learn from each other. I have sent this video to my small group of fellow stampers that meet once a month and encouraged them to bring an assortment of patterned papers to our upcoming class to make as many projects as possible in the two hours we will have together using your ideas here. I think we'll have a blast!!!
Wow, your fabulous ideas are so inspiring, the cards all turned out beautifully... but what I'm most envious of, is anyone who has time to watch a couple of documentaries in a sitting. 😊
As a teacher and card maker I can appreciate how hard you worked on the cards and how much the teachers are going to appreciate them. Thank you from all the teachers!
Do scrapbookers & card makers not understand the power of the TH-cam LIKE system? How in the world am I the first to like this video 7 MONTHS LATER?! This is an amazing idea! Love it!
These cards are wonderful!!! Fun and creative, but also very thoughtful! And, without any doubt, the teachers will greatly appreciate the cards you and Lila have made! Your kindness and creativity are always a blessing!
Fabulous card Jennifer ! Love paper piecing. It is just so pleasurable to set time aside and cut out things. I love the little elephant and the flower heart is just gorgeous!!
AMAZING! You continue to surprise us, video after video! Love, love each and every card, but those teacher cards are off the chart, the colors are stunning. Thank you for time, energy, and kindness. You are deeply loved by the entire community!!!!
Dear Lord, Jennifer, you have no idea how much you turned a switch on in my mind, GOD BLESS YOU and your creativity!!! I thank God for you and your ingenuity, you're such an enormous blessing!!! Sending appreciation & hugs!!!
I used this method to create my husbands valentines card. It came out wonderfully and it loved it. thank you for giving me a new way to create a card without the time consuming coloring. :)
You are the most amazing paper crafting genius in my world! Thank you for sharing all you do, as I know a HUGE amount of time and effort goes into putting your videos together and I enjoy each and every one of them! Some, multiple times! You just ooze creativity and kindness! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Cheers, 😊💕
I so love the little elephant and bunny! As someone else said, they look patchwork - and adorable! I like your long videos because they let you show lot of different examples, and these are so fun. Thanks.
Dear GOD MOTHER OF CARD CREATING. I don't usually leave a comment on your videos because you have tons to read but I am always in awe at the crafty creations that you come up with. Thank you very much for sharing your talent with us. PS I wish once we could see your craft desk after you get done.
I love paper piecing!! Not surprising because I love jigsaw puzzles 😊 I love your simple designs and so creative with the critters.. I never would have thought to do that 😊 thank you Jennifer for the inspiration! 💕
Jennifer, the teachers at my school would ADORE those cards! What a sweet way to show your appreciation! Thank you for all the wonderful inspiration you share with us. Your videos are always the first I go to for ideas. Thank you and may the Lord continue to bless you as you have us! ❤️
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for going the extra mile with your creativity. I've die cut pattern paper before, but never thought to stamp it let alone mixing the patterns and adding ink. You are phenomenal and we really do appreciate you.
WOW Jennifer, you are amazing. ALL of the cards are just stunning. I am positive the teachers will adore their cards. Thanks you for all of your ideas.
I also enjoy some of the repetitive parts of cardmaking! I love all the details you take the time to add to your cards. Perhaps there are more people out here like you than you realize.
Jennifer, once again you are a life saver. I had a friend give my oodles of paper scraps that trying to figure out what to do with or how to store them was totally stressing me out. Now I can't wait to get down to my crafting room and get started. You are such a blessing to my life with your willingness to share your talents. Thanks again.
These cards are gorgeous Jennifer. Such a great way to use hoarded papers. Your teacher cards are beautiful and very special. Thank you for sharing and for your inspiration. Blessings x
Oh my! Using patterned paper to fill in stamped image blanks is my happy jam! Love the ideas, the time, thought and effort you went to in order to bring a smile to so many teachers' faces (thank you! I guarantee, the teachers deeply appreciate your kindness) and the execution. Fabulous job Jennifer :)
Wow Jennifer, you are sooooo clever. You killed 2 birds with 1 stone for me here. I have lots of pattern paper and never know what to do with it and lots of cute critter stamps and never end up making anything with them. So can you imagine the possibilities you opened for me here! Thank you so much, you truly are THE QUEEN of card-making. Love from France
Jennifer, you are so amazing! So many great ways to use patterned papers in this wonderful video, but my favorite cards are the ones for the teachers. So much time into making all of those colored pencils and crayons. Beautiful designs and definitely a work of love. You and Lila are the dream team of kindness! ❤❤❤
Wooow, what amazing cards! They are anazing. You are my idol. I love taking time away to relax by watching a Jennifer video tutorial. This is a lovely world of crafting & creating. Even my hubby knows your voice & your awesome cards.
Jennifer, what an awesome idea. You have definitely given me the bug. I will give this a try once I have completed this entire video. Thanks for being you!
Beautiful cards. My favorites were the pencil and crayon ones. {On behalf of the teacher in my family, thank you for taking the time to make their day. Good teachers are unfortunately often overlooked.}
These cards are amazing!!! I'm not a huge fan of fussy cutting because I have arthritis in my hands, but for big images, this is definitely something I could do! Thank you for the inspiration!!!
I don’t know how you have the time to make all of those beautiful, detailed cards. Yes, it’s probably a little crazy, but if it makes you happy, then that’s all that matters. I love that Lila is able to help and the two of you can spend some crafty time together. I’m leaving next week for a trip to the Philippines and was planning to color some stamped images during the long flights. I may stamp onto some patterned paper as well and do some fussy cutting while watching a movie. TFS and inspiring, Jennifer.
Jennifer, If I were to receive a card that beautiful, I would display it for artwork. That's simply gorgeous piece of art. I love these cards. That peachy plaid and beautiful green , the yellow, all of them. Wow, what awesome work. You rock !!!
Thank you for this wonderful video! I learned many things but most importantly to take the time to make someone feel great by taking the time to create something beautiful for them. Your friends and the teachers will be thrilled to receive these beautiful cards. God bless you for your kind work of heart.
Yes, a great way to use my stacks of patterned papers! The cards are all beautiful. You are definitely blessed not just with talent but with a LOT of patience (the pencils, oh my). Thanks for sharing!
Jennifer i always love watching your presentation on your videos. You are so good at what you do. I always look forward to watching how you do your cards. You have such good advice. 👍 thanks. I do hope that you keep on going for a long time
Great cards Jennifer. My favourite is the bunny and elephant! Now I have some great ideas for cards using all the patterned paper I have just hanging around. Thank you
What an awesome video. Loved all of your cards. Using the pattern paper just added more interest to the cards and the adding ink to edges was a home run. Thanks for sharing.
What a great idea to get our pattern paper used up! I really want to try this! Thank you for your time and also for sharing your beautiful creative brain with us all! 💕🙋♀️
This is such a fun technique. I remember doing this years ago. I’m so glad you are bringing some of these projects back and with new and improved ways to do them. All of your cards are amazing and I’m sure those teachers will love the cards. Maybe you should give them with an inexpensive frame from Hobby Lobby as a hint! Lol! Thanks Jennifer, I always enjoy your videos no matter how long they are.
I love your plaid flowers! And I agree about the 6x6 pads, the scale is better for my smaller stamps. I've also been using the insides of security envelopes, stamping on them, then either use colored pencils, or using daubers with colored ink for coloring them.
Thank you so much for these amazing ideas! I never would have thought of heat embossing on patterned paper! Fussy cutting isn’t my favorite thing, because it’s time consuming, but then so is coloring! My patterned paper was collecting dust! Thanks again for this!!!
Thank you so much for this beautiful idea. I cannot color to save my soul! I have tried copics, zigs, colored pencils, Tombows and when I want to have a gray elephant, I stamp it on gray cardstock. This is a perfect solution for me and I love paper piecing. You are amazing!

WOW, fantastic and now I have lots of good ideas to use up my scraps. When I really started scrapbooking and making cards ( must of been around 1999) I would put scraps into a rolling wooden crate with green hanging folders labeled with a color name. The crate is so handy and easy to use. Anyway, it is about 3/4 full. It will be so easy to pull out colored pattern paper to satisfy my needs. Thanks for the ideas.
Wow wow wow!! I loved watching this. So many great ideas here, Jennifer! I truly appreciate you taking an inordinate amount of time to share all these great ideas with us. I will definitely be looking at my patterned paper in a totally different light. Thank you So much!
Jennifer, thanks so much for making this video! I was feeling a little down today and now I'm getting my mojo to use up those scraps that are accumulating (and getting in the way). You are terrific!
LOL I had to laugh when you said how we crafters tend to hoard our patterned paper, so true. So now I have lots of paper to try some of your techniques and tips to use some of that paper. Your cards are awesome and I will take another tip and stamp several and then fussy cut while sitting and watching tv. Thanks so much Jennifer appreciate your time and tips.
Thank you so much for showing this pattern paper technique....all of the cards are just awesome.....it was a pleasure watching you putting the cards together.
Oh My! I love, love, love the paper piecing. I also love fussy cutting and find it relaxing. This will be my next project after going thru my many, many patterned papers. Another Home Run for Jen!! (I'm also a jigsaw puzzle nut. It figures, right?!) Huggss
totally love this idea, I hate fussy cutting so I will use my scan n cut to do my cutting. it's faster and doesn't make my aging hands so tired...... thanks
