Yes we have seen the performances under Appleton improving, players developing and looking better too. I think it is exciting its just gosh darn injuries that keep throwing a spanner in the works. Yesterday was the most clinical I have seen us and you could see how together this team is becoming it bodes well and Patino? he sure does hate PNE (he's a very talented young player I hope we keep him for the season)
Not had chance to say hi so far this year Lee due to a bereavement that’s hit me hard, but on Saturday my bro came with me for the first time in ages into the north stand, and the sound hit 115 decibels on my Apple Watch. Saturday would’ve been a brilliant game if it was against any team in any division. It was amazing. To be fair to the nobbers, they played their part too, but once us north standers started to feel the players needed a boost, we went into overdrive pushing them on and a minute later, Charlie scored. One of the best games of football I’ve seen in years. Best derby I’ve seen too, and as said PNE were good opponents. I said to my bro “CJ needs to head to the corner flag”, well he did do, but then curled a very composed finish on his weak foot right into the centre of the goal. My bro, mates and I went bananas. I’ve got cuts down my leg and bruised by coccyx from bouncing over a seat. 😂 I also felt the police did a good job today under a ton of pressure - so fair play, they learned from lash years fiasco. But there may be sufficient expertise within the club already. It has been suggested that the rush to fit in matches before the world Cup has caused problems.
It does make you wonder that something we are doing or not doing? is behind the number of injuries we are having it is quite extraordinary but I remember Critch was struggling with injuries all the time. Maybe it's just Squires Gate?
As a Preston fan, I have a lot of admiration for this channel. I have always found it respectful and fair when it comes to opinions. I personally didn’t feel that we deserved to lose the game today, but Blackpool were ruthless, and you have to credit it!
Yes I think the radio commentary summed it up that both teams gave it their all. All our 4 goals were amazing you got a penalty which was definite and an own goal from a free kick. Jane said I didn't enjoy the game at all you had us under quite a bit of pressure but looking back in hindsight you didn't really have many chances. Jerry is on fire at the moment and our position is false we have not got the points our performances have deserved. But like you say I'm a Blackpool channel these are the games we all look forward to I got plenty of stick after the defeat at Deepdale so you must excuse me if it feels good to give some back 😉😁 However its only half time...

Yep we were simply the better team on the day. Jerry is on fire, CJ terrorised them and Patino was sheer class in that 2nd half. Preston battled well but lacked the quality upfront we gave them a penalty and an own goal but all our 4 goals were top drawer. It felt really good when that 4th hit the back of the net. I too hope we perform well next Saturday I think Coventry are better than where their league position suggests and I don't for one minute think it will be easy
Ohhh what a glorious afternoon that was. Nothing quite like winning the big derby is there? That CJ goal I’m watching it and thinking ‘he cannot miss that, he can’t miss it’s an open goal’ and luckily he didn’t let us down did he. The icing on the cake of a wonderful performance. I was in the south stand as well yesterday, I’m normally in the north but had to settle for south on this occasion but the north looked like it was absolutely bouncing more or less from start to finish and eventually it rang round the whole stadium to shut them idiots up 😂 ahhh great memories top top stuff

Yes what a series of 3 videos this has been from the way we were beaten up and treated at Sheff Utd and robbed by the officials at the end to the woeful performance that probably came about because of that referee and the hangover to something that will be reminisced for many years to come it was simply sensational the final goal was the cherry on the icing of a very nice cake. It was at the final whistle I was mainly stressing especially when we gave away the penalty and scored a late own goal and as their keeper went up for the added drama of the late corner I'm thinking oh no but man when it all unravelled and CJ hit that ball (that was in the moment he hit it but time momentarily stopped) the joyful rush of adrenaline was too much I can't believe I managed to film it going in as everyone was jumping around me before it hit
Hi Mike yes TH-cam does things in mysterious ways but I imagine it will be because we picked up a lot of Leeds supporters who watched our video after we played you in the preseason friendly at York and I have only just posted up The Football Tourist Guide to York which includes footage of the game too. However I am glad that you enjoyed it and it reminds you of as you say proper football with proper local fans we love being back in the Championship and for many reasons I didn't enjoy the Premier League season and as The Oystons did what they did we never even got to see the financial benefit of winning £96M. For us the Preston Derby games mean so much the rivalry is HUGE and this was a historic win we haven't put 4 goals past them since 1972 😁

We were clinical which is something I don't say very often. Yes indeed that is the stat that matters but so is how many points you have on the board and where you finish in the league and at the moment it's looking bleak for us. The thought of going back to the 'tramstop' Derby is depressing as there's only one proper Derby game for us and that's you 🙂👍🏻
I’m a Preston fan so I am a bit gutted today but it sounds like a good game of football… the bragging rights are yours again until April 2023. One thing that does confuse me is how the Blackpool fans who invade the pitch are allowed back into the stands without any action taken against them.
That is not the case they will be on police camera and served bans its a quite honestly idiotic thing to do I just don't get it tbh. I go mental in the stands that's enough the thought of running on the pitch never enters my mind

Blackpool are definitely one of the underrated sets of fans. They totally had all the atmosphere when they came to our place and when we went there last season, you never stopped singing even though you was 3-0 down! Really good support
Thanks yes we try our best to be loud to be the 12th man to help them as our team have to compete against some big money teams and players and we are always bookies favourites for the drop. We find that it's the best way to help them to punch above their weight and for the most part it seems to help 🙂👍🏻
Yates had to be MOTM he was unbelievable for that final ball and CJ was cool as you like it's one of those moments where time stands still and then you see its GOING IN!! and it's GAME OVER 😁😁😁 A game that we will never forget Bloomfield Road was bloody bouncing it was something else! Away support is pretty good in the Championship but home support is pretty dire everywhere we have been. Coventry is quite good but nowhere gets bouncing on all 3 sides (4 on Saturday) like it does at Bloomfield Road. I noticed on the nobbers TH-cam channel the songs were all aimed at us I didn't hear one song for there own players it was weird? Maybe they have joyful songs that gee the team up and/or the players on I just didn't hear any
Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! What a game I listened to the commentary on the radio the atmosphere sounded electric every player gave it they’re best. What a Derby it couldn’t have been better. If we can continue to play as good as we have today we’ll soon be climbing that table. Every credit to Michael Appleton and his Blackpool team….that final goal from CJ was the icing on the cake. Depends on how he fills out as he becomes a man it's hard to say he has great vision, makes some superb passes, he seems to glide and has time on the ball but obviously likes a pop at goal too so I don't really know but I'd be very surprised if he is not shining on the international stage in the not too distant future 😁👍🏻
As a Pne fan you won wasn’t a 4-2 but that’s what the result shows, we lost it when Cunningham went off injured and we fell apart until you scored the second we were well on top and the crowd was silent then picked up all credit shame such a low gate
I agree Mark if we hadn't given you a pen and scored an own goal it could have been 4-0 😉 it was a nervy game which I didn't enjoy til the final whistle tbh it felt like you were going to do something but looking back on it with hindsight you never really looked like scoring and that does seem to be your problem. I watched the guy with the anger issues video and he was saying much the same and it was pretty painful and sadly delusional. We lost Bridcutt who was having a great game, our best centre half on the day Thorniley and Husband all to injury and brought 3 young men on yet somehow we scored 4 and they were all quality goals. However its only half time we have to go there yet

Yes I agree he skinned Marv who for some reason had his head in the shed and just kind of gave up got skinned again and then made a clumsy foul for a nailed on pen. They defend well (we were just too good yesterday fortunately) but they are lacking up front and their goals for column doesn't read well. Their youtuber seems to have anger issues and looking at them from the outside they appear to be an angry fanbase at a club that seems to be being run in a very dare I say it 'Oyston-like fashion' and I wouldn't wish that on anyone tbh it's horrible. I was in the south stand as well yesterday, I’m normally in the north but had to settle for south on this occasion but the north looked like it was absolutely bouncing more or less from start to finish and eventually it rang round the whole stadium to shut them idiots up 😂 ahhh great memories top top stuff

It was at the final whistle I was mainly stressing especially when we gave away the penalty and scored a late own goal and as their keeper went up for the added drama of the late corner I'm thinking oh no but man when it all unravelled and CJ hit that ball (that was in the moment he hit it but time momentarily stopped) the joyful rush of adrenaline was too much I can't believe I managed to film it going in as everyone was jumping around me before it hit

Hi Mike yes TH-cam does things in mysterious ways but I imagine it will be because we picked up a lot of Leeds supporters who watched our video after we played you in the preseason friendly at York and I have only just posted up The Football Tourist Guide to York which includes footage of the game too. However I am glad that you enjoyed it and it reminds you of as you say proper football with proper local fans we love being back in the Championship and for many reasons I didn't enjoy the Premier League season and as The Oystons did what they did we never even got to see the financial benefit of winning £96M.
For us the Preston Derby games mean so much the rivalry is HUGE and this was a historic win we haven't put 4 goals past them since 1972 😁

I’m a Preston fan so I am a bit gutted today but it sounds like a good game of football… the bragging rights are yours again until April 2023. One thing that does confuse me is how the Blackpool fans who invade the pitch are allowed back into the stands without any action taken against them.

Blackpool are definitely one of the underrated sets of fans. They totally had all the atmosphere when they came to our place and when we went there last season, you never stopped singing even though you was 3-0 down! Really good support
Thanks yes we try our best to be loud to be the 12th man to help them as our team have to compete against some big money teams and players and we are always bookies favourites for the drop.
We find that it's the best way to help them to punch above their weight and for the most part it seems to help 🙂👍🏻

A game that we will never forget Bloomfield Road was bloody bouncing it was something else! Away support is pretty good in the Championship but home support is pretty dire everywhere we have been. Coventry is quite good but nowhere gets bouncing on all 3 sides (4 on Saturday) like it does at Bloomfield Road.
I noticed on the nobbers TH-cam channel the songs were all aimed at us I didn't hear one song for there own players it was weird? Maybe they have joyful songs that gee the team up and/or the players on I just didn't hear any

Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! What a game I listened to the commentary on the radio the atmosphere sounded electric every player gave it they’re best. What a Derby it couldn’t have been better. If we can continue to play as good as we have today we’ll soon be climbing that table. Every credit to Michael Appleton and his Blackpool team….that final goal from CJ was the icing on the cake. I expected Blackpool to win but not by that margin….Just a great entertaining game of football. Glad to see Jane back to her usual happy self and Lee keep up the good work your vlogs are amazing. Depends on how he fills out as he becomes a man it's hard to say he has great vision, makes some superb passes, he seems to glide and has time on the ball but obviously likes a pop at goal too so I don't really know but I'd be very surprised if he is not shining on the international stage in the not too distant future 😁👍🏻

As a Pne fan you won wasn’t a 4-2 but that’s what the result shows, we lost it when Cunningham went off injured and we fell apart until you scored the second we were well on top and the crowd was silent then picked up all credit shame such a low gate
I agree Mark if we hadn't given you a pen and scored an own goal it could have been 4-0 😉 it was a nervy game which I didn't enjoy til the final whistle tbh it felt like you were going to do something but looking back on it with hindsight you never really looked like scoring and that does seem to be your problem. I watched the guy with the anger issues video and he was saying much the same and it was pretty painful and sadly delusional. We lost Bridcutt who was having a great game, our best centre half on the day Thorniley and Husband all to injury and brought 3 young men on yet somehow we scored 4 and they were all quality goals. However its only half time we have to go there yet

Yes I agree he skinned Marv who for some reason had his head in the shed and just kind of gave up got skinned again and then made a clumsy foul for a nailed on pen. To you it looked great to me it looked like shocking defending that's how football is its all about opinions that's what's great about it and frustrating about it in equal measure 😂

They defend well (we were just too good yesterday fortunately) but they are lacking up front and their goals for column doesn't read well. Their youtuber seems to have anger issues and looking at them from the outside they appear to be an angry fanbase at a club that seems to be being run in a very dare I say it 'Oyston-like fashion' and I wouldn't wish that on anyone tbh it's horrible.
Everything seems to be on an upward trajectory here I'm loving the football and it's improving its just the injuries that worry me but all I hear from the nobbers on here is they are going up so we shall see how it all pans out I guess
