I recently installed a different model of basically same hinge on the back of a speaker box for a trap door so my customer could have a 'closed and open box sound'. Easy to install as long as your careful and they work so well.

Useless. How do I make the mortise? Screwing the hardware to the door is the easy part.

This is funniest idea of an stupid techie, for which he should be locked inside of door . This will never last long with its mechanism of adjustment and tolerance built into it ,will sure fail over a period of time & never ever sustainable to environmental condition .
Dear Aravindh, our hinges are certified to last 200.000 opening cycles as European norm 1935. They are constantly tested in external laboratories accredited by European Union.
If you open your door 10 times a day, 200.000 cycles mean 54 years of use: pretty SUSTAINABLE, isnt' it?
I agree, a reply form the vendor means jack. Just having a certification means jack. There is hardly any material left on the edge. And seems incredibly hard to slot the keeps. One would be stupid enough to buy this.
