I've always sum with the dolphinesat the Sea Life Park when we holiday in Hawaii from Sydney, Australia. Last year we visited the Kahala Resort for lunch and were blown away by how lovely it was. When we return next year, we will definitely add the Dolphin Quest at Kahala to our itinerary.

You bet! It's pretty cool that you can see the dolphins without purchasing any programs too.

I’m not a crazy animal person, but I don’t know how I feel about dolphins being in a pond the size of a neighborhood water retention pond.

I totally see where you're coming from - and these were born in captivity. Even if you 'released' them with good intentions, they would probably not survive.

I’ve watched a fair few of your videos now as I get ready to move to Honolulu later this month. I can say with confidence, I’ve not seen one yet where you seemed so genuinely happy. Seems like you all had a great time. I’m not a huge fan of the idea of dolphins in a pond. But I can understand the learning elements of it especially for kids so thanks for sharing.

Aww fun! You're moving to Honolulu? And thanks for watching the videos. I used to think that about the dolphins too - and I learned that these dolphins were born in captivity. Even if these were 'released', they would probably not survive. I'm not sure what it takes in terms of cost to maintain the facility though or what it would look like if it was bigger.
