Sounds like a fairly legit list, most women I ever talked to seemed to have somewhat similar turn ons and turn offs. The one thing that might damage data quality is the honesty factor. It's a popular trend for women to say "ew bodybuilder, no thanks". But then turn around and swoon over the guy with muscles, veins, abs, the works… I think they voted down gym photos because they've seen them one too many times so now it's got a negative association in their minds but deep down they'd still go for a guy who takes care of his body over the guy with a dad bod that gets praised for it by women saying "oh guys with dad bods are the best, you'll find someone, just not me"
i saw this research before seeing this video, I'm much more convinced to it now. Huge respect for expanding the research by reaching out to other fellows. Do a street interview on what hobbies women find most attractive and then show them the research

Me personally I would only advertise hobbies to women I actually like to do. I would not pretend to like reading or woodworking when I don't GAF about them in reality. I do like dancing and playing tennis. It wasn't on the list but I feel like if you're actually into something you'll attract the right girls rather than pretending to like something. So it seems as if there is a wide range of attractive things to do and what this may be, simply doesn't matter that much. In so far, WheatWaffles estimation is right: your hobby is of low importance and doesn't add much to your SMV. Dancing should have been added. It is definitely missing here. The reason for that is, that it is a widely accepted way to get into contact with women (by giving you more exposure) without being creepy but in order to learn how to dance you already need a partner, which may become a problem (what has been first: the hen or the egg?)
Considering these results are genuinely accurate I’m truly surprised to see how “unattractive”, “boxing/mma” etc is on these lists… like, I always thought most/all women liked/wanted guys who they feel like were strong, dominant, or could protect them… if a guy knows how to fight & had good self defense they should be drawn to them. So to see this ranked so low is really surprising
I'd think it's because they might associate men that partake in those hobbies with a stereotype of having hyper levels of aggression. A lot of women seem to prefer calm men -- as long as they aren't wimps, so it makes sense in that aspect.
Most MMA fighters are try-hards who don't know how to actually fight. They're also known for being troublemakers, too. Chicks aren't as attracted to troublemakers as we think.

But it's not the hobbies themselves that are causing the attraction. A great looking guy can play video games and watch anime all day and will still slay. An unattractive guy can have all the "attractive" extroverted hobbies and will get nothing.
