Much appreciated dude! Blue hour photos can be pretty sweet, and it’s always nice hearing when others enjoy the shots too! Thanks for watching my friend :)
Pretty cool to get to see your raw image next to your edited version. Helps a non photographer like myself be able to see exactly what all good editing can do. Your pictures have come a long way, even in the past couple years. I really enjoyed the landscape shot from City of Rocks. What a golden hour.
Thanks man! I’ve really been working on my editing this last year, photography has really added another dimension to my enjoyment of the outdoors and it’s always cool looking at the photos afterwards. It does take time putting in the transitions from Raw to final, but I enjoy the effect. It’s good to know others like it too, it makes the extra time worthwhile 😂😂😂 Thank you for watching!
An excellent photographer does so much more than excellent photographs and editing, they have the blessed talent of evoking emotions and imagination of the viewer and you sir have done an excellent job of acquiring those skills. I really am in awe of how you have come along in this journey and I'll always be watching for more. ✌
Wow, thank you so much for the heartfelt compliments. It means a lot to hear them, and it’s motivating to know that others enjoy the images as much as I do 🙏🙂🙏. I’m not where I want to be yet, but it sure has been fun learning along the way!
Wow 🤩 I cant pick one favorite. In no order- the panoramic & Limpia Creek fog shots at Davis Mountains, & the sunrise at City of Rocks. I enjoyed this video format. Thanks for sharing & inspiring my photography interests!! Know anyone looking to buy a kidney? I need funds to purchase an A7CR 😂.
😂😂😂 Sell them both and get the A9 III haha! Those three are good ones! That City of Rocks sunrise came out much better than I thought it would when I snapped the panorama. In all seriousness though, it would be cool to see you with a full frame, we could learn from each other! It’s a slippery slope with gear though, I’ve abandoned all hope of being ultralight hahaha!
The 2nd Davis Mountain Shot... Was that taken from an overlook on the Limpia Trail or from across the highway on Skyline? Agree the shot being a favorite.
The second one was the the 11-shot panorama of the clouds, was that the one you were asking about? Or was it the third one with the misty golden cottonwoods? Both were from the Limpia trail, and were taken at about the same time. That fog was making everything look so cool! Thank you for watching, and for voting on a favorite :)
@@ChucoHiker The photo I like the most and was asking about started at the 5:57 mark. I am curious as to where on the Limpia trail you took the photo and what direction the photo was taken. Was the photo taken looking south or north?
@@jeffwrinkle575Good idea with the timestamp, that helped clear it up 👍👍 This was taken on the vista trail, a spur off of sheep pen canyon loop near the backcountry sites. We were at the Limpia creek vista looking more or less south/southeast for this shot. There were great views in all directions up there.
These are great pictures. Thanks for sharing them. Going to recommend you add a copyright to your photos and videos. Unfortunately some folks will steal your work in heartbeat.
Thanks! I’m glad you like them! I go back and forth with watermarking. I used to do it, then I stopped doing it, then I think about doing it again. You’re right though, there are bad actors out there that will steal work without permission. It’s something worth thinking about.
Thank you to @hikingwithjackieboy for sharing this video! Check out his channel for tons of Texas Outdoor Content 👍👍👍!
Thank you, Chuco. I'm looking forward to your adventures and photography.
@@hikingwithjackieboy It’s the least I could do 🙂
Hopefully my 2024 photos don’t disappoint heh-heh.
They are all stunning. I love the colours in the Sugarloaf mountain one
Thank you 🙏🙏
Sugarloaf definitely came out real nice :). It was a great way to start the year!
Wonderful!
Thank you. I was lucky and got some good ones this year :)
Gotta love our southwestern views!
The photo of ELP and Juarez blended into a sea of light splashing into the fjords of Franklin Mtns was my favorite! Simply beautiful work brother👍🏼

Thanks man! It’s been a fun year of learning!
