The song Waves of His glory was written and recorded by Cea du Plooy, a prophetic intercessor in our prayer network, MP4Jesus.
The two of us (Amanda le Roux and Cea du Plooy) had prophetic dreams the very same night, in a short version she had to lead us in a new song, and she did just that in the dream. Leading us (thousands of women) in a glorious song at the women's conference. Read all about Cea'sion in this post.
So when I sent her a message just past 4H00 the morning to tell her about my dream and that she needs to write and lead us in the song at our provincial prayer gathering she said:” I am busy writing the song”! Isn’t God amazing?

CEA'S STORY- WAVES OF GLORY
In the vision, I saw a river of fire. The surface of the river was covered with a black crust. I could hear the heartbeat of God. Dudoef... dudoef... and with every heartbeat, the fiery lava underneath the crust reacts, pulsating in the same rhythm with His heartbeat. With every heartbeat, it seems like the crust on top is getting more unstable and is going to break open.
I heard these words:
Wave, upon wave, upon wave, upon wave of His glory,
Filling every heart telling His story...
Then the rest of the song followed and within minutes most of the song was written down.
Verse 1 starts with the repeat of the words “wave upon wave” - 4 times. Verse 1 is repeated 3 times. Symbolizing that sweet perfect (7)moment when heaven meets earth!
Our worship team took the song and recorded it and here it is to release as Holy Spirit leads. This song is a word for the body of Christ by the body of Christ.
The scripture is Song of Solomon 8.
Fasten me upon Your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living,
consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love.
My passion is stronger than the chains of death
and the grave,
all-consuming...
as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God.
Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being.
Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame.
Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you.
Everything will be consumed.....
It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore.
