I have watched and listened to every performance uploaded to TH-cam which includes her, and she has never done anything which could lead one to believe that she is saying "Look at how good I am". It has always been the music and lyrics for Angelina. To sing the song as she feels it should b sung and in that magical way she has, she communicates the intense emotions of the song to her listener.
This is her most fun song. I'm glad to see her so playful. At the same time, we still melt hearing her voice. I think the most underrated aspect of Angelina is how she writes. The lyrics here are phenomenal. "All you know about bitterness. There's nothing to do about it. Don't give up, don't give up. Life should be lived with hope." With some singers this might sound cheesy or cliche-ish but with her voice, her delivery and the way you feel it, it doesn't, and you believe her. "I see myself in the mirror. I want to love the person looking back at me." Who hasn't felt that every once in a while?

When God was pouring out gifts for newborns I think and Angel must have distracted Him and He poured the entire cup into her. Great reaction. A couple comments: that opening rhythm on the bass definitely has the Fever vibe, but it’s from the original 50’s recording of Fever by fabulous Peggy Lee. Angelina then goes off on her own, but she’s listened to all the great 40’s & 50’s singers and that catchy opening was no accident or coincidence. (Seventh Heaven is an original by Angelina along with some great songwriters.) Yes, Angelina has more range than most other singers, but what really sets her apart is her ability to use that magic voice to give us so many styles and genres. We just heard some great upbeat jazz from the same girl who covers Adele, Elvis, Elton, Rihanna, Cher, and Sinatra. And as you said-she’s 15. But one disagreement: I would be 100% happy and content if Angelina never added any choreography. I honestly believe that she don't hear what, and the way we hear, it's like she hears sounds and notes, tones, angles, and things we're just not tuned into. I believe her comprehension of sound is just at a GENIOUS level.

Is awesome to consider where her career will be by age 30. What a journey. Yes -.A Gift but as to where she came from? She was learning pitch rhythm & tone in her mother's Womb! I kid you not. There are a lot of evidence based studies that show that babes - after birth - & Yes even before in the womb- respond to music & that their neurological / brain development is enhanced by listening to music that is complex & diverse. So we now know that being exposed to all kinds of music including classical sets up the developing brain for faster language development & exposure to rhythm helps motors skills ( balance - infants learning to walk sooner. Etc. Etc.)
