Here's the lore. There was a well known stage magician in South Korea who used to hypnotize people as part of his act. Red Sun was the trigger phrase he used to instantly put people back under his control again after waking them. They are hypnotizing us and they are Victorian vampires. Choreographed by Sua which is easy to tell because of all the touching. Sooyeon doesn't put much touching in the choreo she does for them.
One of my all time favourites, I LOVE this song. The production, the styling, the concept, Sua’s choreo, the rap and vocals? ALL S tier stuff. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve heard this song
Fun fact: the laugh right before Dami's first rap is from Dami herself. She explained that she needed to have a sound introducing her rap, and nothing really worked but the little laugh :)
This is one of my favorite b sides of Dreamcatcher. Love this song. Like the instrumental especially the opening part is so alluring mystifying and hauntingly beautiful. Been waiting for this one. Red Sun was one of the first b-sides I heard from DC and it's of a genre that I'm not typically a fan of. With that said, it instantly became one of my favorite songs, and then I saw the video which only made it better, and then finding out that SuA did the choreo pushed it over the top. It's still in my top 5. The only thing missing is Dongie, but I'm glad we finally got an OT7 version.
