McKay gave the character a supporting cast (taken from her original appearance and old ASM issues) and wrote her as a thief rather than a super-hero. Definitely worthy of a prestige collection.

I've done 5 different videos talking about this series and they're still some of my favorite things I did on my channel.
Jed MacKay's Black Cat was honestly one of the biggest surprises on the last few years for me. I really did not expect to love it as much as I did, but it was hard not to, when every volume kept being better than the last one.
I have every issue, since those covers are just gorgeous, but I am SO glad we're getting this Omnibus now. Can't wait for my copy to arrive.

Black Cat was a series or character that I didn't expect to get an omni.
Just got notice that mine is on it's way, so am looking forward to finishing the black cat run.
This gives me Hope that we may get a silver sabre omni one day

I read this one digitally last year it it was a surprise highlight, definitely putting MacKay on my radar and his Moon Knight of current as also been great.

I{m happy to get this book simply because it's one of the projects I wish Marvel could do more where a beloved character gets their own series to flesh them out. Not liking how the current run, even though made Felicia and Peter a thing again, barely even appears on ASM. Just happy getting this and enjoying me some Black Cat

the prices of single issues from Vol 1 tell me a lot of other people liked Black Cat as well
For those wondering about reading order, the best place to read this would be between Spider-Man by Nick Spencer Omnibus vol 1 and vol 2 (the Iron Cat mini is after Beyond, but is standalone enough to be fine). Also, to get the whole Infinity Score storyline, pick up the Infinite Destinies tpb read it once you finish Black Cat (2020) #7

You do mention KiB here, but is that required or recommended? Would it make sense to read any Spidey or Cat’s issues to enjoy it? What are the good books to continue following the characters from here?

I bought the first tpb, I like the story but not sure how I feel about Travel Foreman's art. It's ok but sometimes it looks rough.

I read some of it in trade paperback and it was not too bad but it was not the best book ever. Some of it is quite good just not consistently that way and I did not get to read it all. It was kind of good.
I know that Moon Knight is seen a lot as the Marvel version of Batman. Is Black Cat the marvel version of Catwoman?
This is a nice surprise, this one wasn't on my radar gonna have to pick it up. I love when marvel actually draws women characters like actual women n not give them 13 year old boy bodies.
Right because there is only one body type for "actual women"
Historically, if it can be said that Marvel has an issue with drawing women, it's not drawing women to look like 13 year olds but drawing them from the perspective of a horny 13 year old boy. Black Cat does look beautiful in this book, tho, as befits the character.
Only 30 issues. Expensive book in Australia. Oh well.
Even as a big BC fan, the art it so unattractive, especially for a character like BC, that its a no for me sadly.
The art looks great BUT it's NOT the art I have a problem with. It's the year this material was published.
I stopped buying ALL Marvel Comics after 2012-2013 because ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT Disney-Marvel turned the Marvel Universe into the miserable thing it is today.
