- Quick video montage of a few of the Impala's more impressive views and stunts. The production company has 7 or 8 cars that are used as baby (Metallicar) but the popularity of the show has made the 1967 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop difficult to find. even the sedans (B-pillar hard post between the doors) have gone up in price.

I mean you aren’t wrong, it survived getting hit by a semi truck, the rising of Lucifer, the Leviathans, God vs Amara, The Winchesterstaking on God hell, even survived Dean’s death. The Impala is an unstoppable beast.
And she still looks as beautiful as the day she came out of the factory.
One of the best characters in the entire show. It just would be the same without her. Baby's the best.

Every time I see the impala my eyes drink in its beauty. It's a shame knowing that it was truly the 3rd brother in the family and yet it's now in Sam's garage never to be driven again from the shows perspective.

Replying to a three year old comment, I know. But, if you want a ‘67 Impala, all I can say is good luck.
This show and this show alone pushed the prices of all ‘67 Impalas through the roof. 2 doors, 4 doors, and convertibles are all very, very sought after now. If you do find one, be prepared to pay $20K for a running, driving one in ok condition. If you want a project, $5K-$10K. That’s USD, by the way.
And that’s without mentioning spare parts. 4 door parts are VERY hard to come by, like interior and exterior trim. And when they do show up, expect to pay out the wazoo for them as well.

Something just dawned on me. Why would John leave his car filled with all the tools he would need as a hunter and his journal which is every hunters database of info in his car for his son to watch then set out on a solo, no supply journey to track down info on the yellow eyed demon?
Because he left it all for sam and dean, he knew dean would go looking for sam at stanford and that they would follow his clues that lead to cases, its not very clear what weapons he used when he left though
@@elenmascaradoescarlata7005 But that would mean he either had access to a second vehicle, had access to all the knowledge in his journal, weapon resources, track down whatever he needed in order to fight the yellow eyed demon by himself. That's just completely reckless and not smart to take down a demon which took his wife.
It didn't sound like he only gave Dean Baby when he disappeared. That means he never gave her, just disappeared. Dean had already taken her on his hunt. I assumed he had his own vehicle as well. I guess it is possible he gave it to him right before that hunt, but would have been a major clue.
@@trinitybernhardt9944 if he had his own vehicle, im.sure he would have taken care of her and not switched to his dad's impala. Never thought of it that way though. He might have used it last on a hunt and when he returned to John, found out he was already on another hunt.
Maybe watch season 1 again.. it explains all those loopholes in the episodes where John is, also a big clue is the episode of the last season where everyone reunites, where he's on a hunt with Dean, but he's already using the Impala but he's on the truck watched on season 1

It’s got nothing to do with being car or non car people. I prefer the sedan over the coupe. It just looks meaner. But this is my favourite because it’s beautiful in black and it has a beefy 502. Not a whimsy 327 350 or 427
