Hi Brian at what age can you take them from nest to start hand feed
1 week old
Wow can I have please 🙏
Hi Brian i recently got myself a kakariki bird he was hand fed from baby and then i hand fed him for three weeks and nowe i changed the formula from kaytee to 'some other brand and he is not drinking this new brand formula ... And how should i make him get used to this new one and what should i feed him once i stop feeding formula
Shouldn't change completely, you slowly mix the new formula with the old and then eventually replace the old formula

Hey Brian, I could really use a hand, I'm picking up a baby Indian Ringneck today and I've never fed a baby bird before. First, he's 8 weeks old , how do I know when he's full? Won't see the belly the way you did your Senegal at 4 weeks right? If 8 weeks, at what age do I start to introduce other foods, solid foods? I want it to get used to fresh fruits and veggies as my first bird (Cockatiel) will only eat seed and honey/nut treats but nothing fresh. Thank you
breeders shouldn't let babies go until they are fully weaned. But if you gently press the crop it should be spongy and bounce back, it's its tight with no movement then its filled too much
Sorry I asked you the same question again I didn't I didn't see the message sorry thank you
