I think the initial gut reaction to a new wheel is very telling. This is looking very promising unlike the blase reaction to the X-way. I've found that if a new wheel lacks enthusiasm towards it despite its on-paper specs, it seems to mean something is off about it and therefore doesn't have the magic or fun-factor or oneness
The gyroscopic effect of a larger wheel is proportional to the radius ^2, which means higher speed cornering will require more body lean off the centerline of the wheel… and greater strain on the knees. This design is unreasonable until manufacturers incorporate ‘mass gyro stabilization’ which will lessen the aggregate angular momentum needed from the rider because it is mechanically supplemented by active motion control algorithms. This tech is less than 10 years away in EUCs and is being developed for robotics and has been successfully prototyped at Singapore University (among others). This technology will enable us to ride EUCs on ‘black ice’ and maintain stability while sliding sideways. Eventually (in about 10 years) inexperienced riders will be capable of riding at traffic speeds on day 1 of their learning curve. A couple years later we’ll even see that Parkinson’s patients will be able to use EUCs without worrying about their tremors interfering with their ability to perform normal maneuvers. There are some design changes that could make a 24”-32” wheel EUC more maneuverable but the market for this type of wheel does yet support the production volume necessary to develop more complex designs. IMHO
It seems, Begode has changed it’s suspension philosophy. I am hoping information is released, if it’s similar to Leaperkim’s. IMO, the suspension was the only deal breaker between the Begode and Leaperkim, everything else was just rider preference. With the Begode’s history of performance, and possible suspension upgrade, I want the Panther. There is a rumor of an upgraded Nikola, in the works. Is this true or false, because I am a diehard fan? THX
I just yesterday got on the V13 and thought it was so heavy and awkward so I immediately discounted it and consider it evidence how important height and weight of the wheel are and how the effect is pronounced at slow speeds and mounting/starting off on the wheel.
Panther looks amazingly nimble for a 22"er! And call me vain but it looks miles better than its predecessor, MPro. & The biggie for me is the new BG inhouse (dont know if its good or otherwise) hydraulic shock. Didnt know that as it hardly ever mentioned. Long dist ride boyz will likely love it
Panther's got 10% more battery than Sherman L, maybe faster charging. Also a 22" wheel means more tire options. However, reliability, water rating, and BMS are obviously super important factors too. So it's indeed a very hard choice.
@@TheEVside since we are similar size, getting going on this wheel is as you would expect, heavy, but when you do, the torque/acceleration is better than you would expect. A rider called Morgan in the video, he is 18 years old and much lighter than me and you. That suspension is a definite step up from what we are use to with Begode. It’s very comfortable

Been waiting on a new cruiser, this could be my year.

This might be my next wheel. Looks surprisingly maneuverable.
This wheel has highly unfavorable gyro effects for high speed performance, that’s why it’s not likely to be produced in volume.
@ give it to Dan and let her figure it out
I can't see a linkage or?
What type of suspension? Like extreme bull and leaperkim!

Awesome 😎 thanks brother!!
✨🙏✨
Why didn’t you ride it? Cool video.
Same wh battery as master pro?

Also is that jacket a new e-rides? Or your own looks awesome
@@TheEVside it’s a new one coming to e-RIDES, Yes 👍🏼😊
@@AfeezKayeRIDES ah cool mate give me a shout when you have them that looks awesome
fabolous
Panter or sherman L?
I would take sherman L better reliability..bms..waterproof..easy tire change.

Too big for me but great looking wheel need to see more in depth review first
