Love the idea and great instruction. I've found however, that the inexpensive colored flat rocks tend to fade in the sunlight regardless of what type of finish used: clear coat, resin, etc. I have had success with using Pebeo Vitran (?) and baking the glass after painting. Thanks again for the video.
Yes, some have said even flat marbles can fade! I've not had the problem but there must be different ways of making them. Would need to test if a coating with U/V protection could help.
I took it one step further and used sanded grout in a grey colour to fill in the gaps...I've also done this with old Windows and have them in my garden makes it look like a stained glass window.
Your projects sound lovely. I love the grouted look too! I don't recommend grout for this beginner method because it won't adhere to any dried adhesive it comes into contact with.
Simply awesome. Clear, concise tutorial. No extra gab or chatter. Love it!
Thank you, Heidi.
I wish I had found your video years ago when I started my garden. Thank you for sharing.❤

Thank you! I hit Goodwill this a.m. & found a very large ceramic apple and a purple bowling ball 😄
