Hey there! Just wanted to thank you for this Ka-50 BS3 tutorial series. It’s the best I watched on TH-cam. And I’ve watched a lot. I hope we will see new videos soon. Once more - I love it!
I "normally" have kinda wanted to fly copters, but have went around em, as i have very hard centering stick. (tm16000m). BUT now trialed ka-50 and having one of the best times in dcs I have had for a moment :) ka-50 is pretty much "this has to fly easy" because it is one man copter. I have trialed for example apache -> do dice with my old pedals. Ka-50 is very different. It flies basically like a drone with pilot inside. :) Or thats how I would describe my experience with it. I bet other copters are also fun to fly, but as long as i can get better pedals (have old CH pedals, those terrible ones that came with saitek x45 20 years ago ;D but still, they are enough for this, easily. Ka-50 wpnsystems was also nice to notice that after hours with su-25t they were VERY easy to learn. (tgt pod is "identical" to su-25t and wpns). But yeah. This was so much different to my earlier experiencing with copters in DCS I think I will buy this one after trial. If I dont get bored in the few days I have left after thumbling with systems. Ka-50 is much more easy, very much I think, that one could think Russian wpn system to be, when looking into cockpit. I really like the navigation computer / glonass system. It is like using my garmin plotter in my boat, which has samekind of two knob system. :)
One more thing. There should be no other comms on datalink radio frequency (R-800 radio) - no voice, no other datalinks, nothing. Otherwise it will interfere with datalink, corrupting it. Your flight should use R-828 radio to communicate with each other while using datalink.
Great tutorial, but please consider streamlining it somewhat. Cutting out the flying/"Unnecessary" parts. Just my opinion, but I think most people who watch these tutorials are just interested in learning and don't really wanna see anything else. thanks
Did you guess who my wingman is without watching to the end?
Dotman. Caught the voice.
How do you do voice commands?
I am grateful for your videos you present and help DCS enthusiasts to learn and feel confident with DCS. Keep on it! Thumbs up for your efforts 👍

Thank you. I find your DCS how to Vids extremely helpful & informative
Good video. Thank you. Definitely getting some Ka-50 time later.
Thank you Deephack.

Has the alignment process changed? I can't duplicate your steps from your video.
I really like the video! I do have one note though. Helicopter does not hover "only the stork" Helicopter hangs.
