Hello Sir, If I have to design an electronic (microcontroller based) switch in place of the centrifugal switch, on what basis should I decide when to disconnect the starting capacitor ? You mentioned that the capacitor has to be disconnected when motor reaches 80 percent RPM. Is there any way I can somehow electronically figure this out without having to actually measure the RPMs. Is it safe to wait for say half a second after switching on the motor and then disconnect the capacitor ?

Sir please tell me,the centrifugal switch open when rotor reach 75% of full load speed, thenafter rotor rotate or not?if rotate why

Sir if capacitor is not disconnected in running condition then what will be effect of I in machine?

A capacitor start induction motor is switched on to supply with its
capacitor replaced by an inductor of equivalent reactance. The
    motor will
    (a) not start at all.
    (b) start and run slowly.
    C) start and run at rated speed.
    d) start with humming noise. Sir can u tell me what will happen?

In auxiliary winding resultant reactance is Xc - Xa or Xc - Xm

    Sir
what will be happen if we use very high value of capacitance
    in comparison to rated value

Sir is there any special reason you used Xl-Xc/R instead of Xc-Xl/R when finding the auxiliary winding angle? Because you get a different answer if you use the latter i mentioned? Is it derived from the phasor diagram ? I was thinking capacitance will always overshadow inductance after capacitor is introduced hence it should be Xc-Xl? Kindly explain. Thanks
