You call someone outstanding that didn't put their gears up?
Well lets just say that we are a few light years away, from my beloved FS2002 Pro, graphic wise.
I must admit that my good old FS2004, with the tons of add ons for it, is so stable, crash free, fast downloading, and still supported by new dvd's, is as you might of guessed , my all time favorite.
FSX is beautiful, but has a temperament that exasperates me.
Even with good equipment, forums and troubleshooting readings, and mighty patience.
Your video was superb.
Right at this moment, I will fly my "Lago" De Havilland Canada Twin Otter, to PAJN, using FS2004....
Thanks! Orbx has good scenery around Juneau including Mendenhall glacier. We visited by cruise ship a few years ago and found Orbx to still be very accurate. The latest tourist photos show the glacier has retreated a lot and the falls on the right are much smaller. Great scenery even has the bus station at the tourist stop. Follow the highway back to town.
In 1982 my wife and I visited our American friends in Juneau. We flew from Manchester, England to Seattle on a Pan Am 747 and then to Juneau on an Alaskan Airlines 727. During our stay we flew from Juneau to White Horse on a Wien 737 before returning to Juneau by train and boat. We then returned home via Seattle.

Haha! Coming home to Juneau is always exciting. The only thing more exciting than a Juneau landing is the short runway found in a number of other SE Alaska airports. You come down over the water, forever, and just at the last second, when you're sure you're going in the drink, the runway appears! Alaska Airlines pilots are the best!

Nice landing, great video. I just landed at Juneau for the first time tonight in my Q400 it was a bit bumpy and a tad short to be honest but I will definitely visiting there again.

+Rhett Kelly That's correct. The Localizer is offset by 14.06°. I didn't use the localizer though - I followed the programmed route and did a visual approach from 2300ft on to the runway. Thanks for watching

how do yu make your plane look good? is it like a normal pmdg? cuz I have them and they dont look THAT good. Oh and 1 more question. Where do you find like pmdg md11? I went to their page and didnt find it.
It's the normal PMDG 737. The MD-11 is no longer available.

Can somebody tell me how to get this view? (As in the nose view). Is it purely using EZCA and 'moving forward'?
Amazing graphics though. I get excited when I get 17fps on my PMDG!
Though with Airbus X, I'm happy with more than 5 :)

I didn't think you could use REX and Active Sky together.......
Yes, REX isn't a weather engine, it's just the textures for the clouds, water etc. Active Sky is what implements the actual weather

+kree84ever It might look too slow because of the narrow FOV. The approach speeds are absolutely realistic and depend on the weight of the plane as well as the height of the airport
