Thanks for the shout out. It was great hanging out with you as well. Somehow I missed that Lionel biu plane for only $10 otherwise it would have went home with me lol.
The layouts are just incredible! Not just the level of craftsmanship but just the IDEA that they manage to transport them to shows, espcially considering the size of some of them! Just amazing! You know, I MIGHT have made this show except for the fact it was my wedding anniversary weekend. Not wanting to risk death or permanent injury I figured the wiser course was to stay home! So thanks for bringing us along Dave!
Amazing layouts at that show! The last time I was there, was 26 or 27 years ago... I can't believe how far the Lego trains have come. Thanks again for your video!
That's a long drive, Dave. When I taught in Maryland that was my "local" show. For a short while Howard Zane also did an all-brass show. That was something, too.
Thanks for taking the time to show us this incredible train show, Dave. A really fantastic gathering of model railroad products to buy and great layouts to see. I had an aunt that lived in a care facility near the Towson Town Centre. I visited her once a month for a number of years. Because I was an airline retiree, I could fly from Toronto at a discount. But that meant I didn't have a car and couldn't afford to rent one. I knew about this show and always wanted to go to one, but I had no idea where it was located. I guess I could have looked it up online, but never did. A big thanks again for a glimpse at a grand show.
Love all the videos, but how did you attach the track to the insulation board on that great layout? Nice work on the train shows, almost like being there. Thanks for all the entertainment!
My roadbed is secured with a very thin layer of silicone caulk. The track is then secured to the roadbed by silicone caulk under every third or fourth tie.
Let’s let go of the $30 limit thing. Spend whats required but keep the marriage thing in mind to not create friction there. Most of the prices are just a blurr. But I’m guessing most of and the one’s legible, the prices are 3 digits followed by decimal point. Referring to 3 rail O gauge, no interest in the others, but ho might be a lot cheaper. Again thanks for sharing.
Funny you should say let go of the limit, my wife just said last night that I should go back to the $20 limit! Lol. Filming was rushed a bit at this show, I was running out of time.
Lots to see. Wow! Thanks for showing us.
Glad you enjoyed it

My first time there on Saturday. WOW! Although most of it was HO

Totally agree. It’s hard enough making a layout that never has to move!
Another great video Dave.
Thanks for watching!
Awsum video Lots of kool stuff at the train show
Great train layouts thanks for sharing 🚂👍
Glad you enjoyed it

A great show!
The custom lego modelers have done so many great things. A lot of official lego trains are much improved but still very much toys.
@@dagryffynhobby I like it because of the combined hobby interests.
I was there on Sunday and got a great deal on a 736 which I will post to FB soon.
Nice! Can’t wait to see it!
So many awesome engines and rolling stock 😀
Indeed!
Cool

What’s 3,5 hours when trains are concerned?! Lol.

Glad you enjoyed it. I try not to think about all the amazing shows I missed over the years, makes me sad!
Now this is a great train vid.....
Thank you!
I was the one who bought the T1 locomotive at the booth with the 2 EP3s and the cab forward.
Nice. Enjoy them!
That was a pretty good show. There were more layouts at this one than the last one by a good bit.
I couldn’t believe, or keep track of, the layouts at this one.

I dont recall but sure I exceeded the budget.
