When I posted the following message: The USA have a Commandant in Chief supposedl to look after the interests of the Nation, Why does not Europe have a Commandant in Chief looking after Europe security? I was told that such a Commandant was in Brussels! Sorry if not specific enough: I did not mean a person in charge representing NATO Europe I meant a Person employed by the European's Community representing Europe's interests and openly dealing with allies and conflicts

Europe is not a country, therefore there is no european interest, there are german interest, french interest, spanish interest etc..
