- An inside look at tour life with indie rock band Wolf Alice, as they prepare for their Brighton gig.
2016 sees the group touring the world, off the back of the huge success of their album "My Love is Cool". We join the band as they have some downtime ahead of their gig at the iconic Brighton Dome.
Enjoying the typical British seaside fayre, we get a unique look into the band's fashions, passions and footballing skills before they step out on stage in front of their devoted fans.
A young band like this is something to be cherished.

This band is something special. Vibrant, new, funny, modest, inspiring. I’m over fifty but this band excites me! Total respect for what these guys are doing.

She's a thin little thing, which magnifies her charisma. She's also way beautiful and a fine singer. The whole band are very cool, I wish them all the best. But the bottom line is, do they have the songs? The answer reminds me of one of my favorite UK bands, the Manics, and it's a resounding YES!

I wish this was a proper two hour documentary. This 20 minute short documentary was better than that two hour film which was also called 'On the Road' but based around that woman following the band around with the shitty fact love story.

From my shitty estimates I'd say Joff and Theo are around 5'11" or 6 feet and Ellie and Joel around 5'7" or 5'8". Two smaller than bigs and two larger than smalls.

Great video!! I have a question, How did you manage to film and get an inside look with the band?
It's from Radio 1 (aka BBC Radio 1) the oldest radio station on the planet, they have their own festivals (Radio 1's Big Day Out being the biggest) and in the UK and much of Europe they get to sit at the big table for any festival, gig or musical get-together. The number of bands that Radio 1 has broke would blow your mind, John Peel (R.I.P.) was a Radio 1 DJ for 40 years who introduced us Brits to everything from Pink Floyd to Nirvana and made them household names that eventually the whole planet loved - if he played your songs then tens of millions of Brits would be queuing up to buy your album the next day. Then the world would do the same a month later.

Ellie has been going out with the lead singer from the group "Swim Deep" for the last couple of years, I don't know if they are still together as both have quite different tour schedules.
That bus must cost a fortune, how do they even make a profit on this kind of tour?

Rental?
If the bus belongs to the label then there is no overheads, just driver wages and restock. But even if the bus was weekly hired a single show would pay for that and leave a couple hundred quid to spare, and they do 5-6 shows per week.
They are on tour in small-medium venues that hold around 2,000 people, they aren't playing your local pub which has 150 people watching a band on a good day.
