I am still having a hard time understanding why she has flat feet, because she is super energetic and good at many sports. She is also very fit and agile. Maybe one of the reason is that she likes to jump from height... For example from top of a slide at the playground that is about 5 ft high.
Sometimes is not a problem,but sometimes they feel pain like my kid,sometimes he wakes up crying,so his doctor told me to get the arch support 🥹his doctor say the somes kids doesn’t have any problems like pain,and there are somes that feel a lot pain,thanks god my kid feel pain sometimes,no always,
I used to have this growing up after many people asked questions about my feet I realized the problem and began exercising and stregthening my feet many times flat feet is due to lack of foot flexing and correct ankle tightening and positioning in the knee and ankles.
In fact, there are at least 40 causes of flat feet. Some respond to strengthening and some do not. Sometimes having flat feet is a problem and some times it is perfectly normal for that individual. It's great that strengthening might have helped you but that has no bearing on another person's situation.

If a child has “normal” foot structure, no problems with feet at all, do they need an orthotic? Are orthotics for people with foot problems? Do you need orthotics when you are an adult?

Talk to your pediatrician first. Some kids just walk later than others. It may not be the flat feet at all. In fact, most babys have flat feet.
