I've seen the previous and subsequent seasons but they don't really attract my attention, maybe I have an opinion blinded by nostalgia but the Disney seasons really had their own particular charm.
My top 3 are Time force, Lost Galaxy, and in space. Time force had a great story and was more mature for the time. It got really deep at times. Lost Galaxy had a great story too. With Leo losing his brother and also the sad death of the pink ranger. Not to mention the awesome Qusar Sabers. In space had a great story with Andros and Carone. Even had amazing zords and a lot of them. Also had the psycho rangers and the appearance of the Phantom ranger. Also all 3 season had awesome 6th ranger. Quantum Ranger, Silver Ranger, and The Magna Defender.
I think Power Ranger show from Mighty Morphin to RPM did the franchise it’s best nostalgic successful era even though they’ve manage to go through over nearly 30 years with some chances of getting cancelled but the brand will always mean a lot through my childhood. Also may actors such as Jason David Frank, Thuy Trang, Pua Magasiva, Peta Rutter (Udonna from Mystic Force), Bruce Alpress (Master Phant from Jungle Fury), Grant McFarland (Ninja Storm), Robert Axelrod (Lord Zedd), Erik Frank and Richard Genelle (Ernie) all Rest In Peace
It’s settled. In Space proves to be the best season of the franchise. And rest in peace to veteran and the late Jason David Frank. May the power protect him.
Dino Thunder will always remain my personal favorite. Great story, awesome zords, villains that capture the audiences interest, and the return of the best power ranger 😊🦖🦕💀
I loved Dino Fury and would strongly argue it should be higher on the list and can't wait to see what Cosmic Fury brings to it as we return to ongoing stories across seasons.
Heavily agree, was very caught off guard by it being so low on the list. I’d argue it should move up to at minimum 15 on this list. Idk if it beats Dino Charge but then again Dino charge should be moved up too IMO.
100% agree with In Space being #1. That series was so good and the familial aspects are what drove it home for me. For instance, Ecliptor is a machine and was built to be evil, however he deeply loved a human like Astronema and treated her like she was his own daughter. In fact, Ecliptor would kill someone like Darkonda, who was also evil, but somehow, even more evil than he was just to keep Astronema safe. Such a good franchise
Darkonda was gleefully evil and short of Dark Specter and probably early Season 2 Lord Zedd was probably the most evil of anyone up to that point. He had no honour and would resort to underhanded and utterly messed up tactics to get ahead. Not to mention the fact he had 9 lives so he had to be killed 9 times. Ecliptor had honour and utterly despised Darkonda (not all Power Rangers villains got along. Lord Zedd hated Master Vile and Rita's brother Rito, not to mention King Mondo and the Machine Empire) but it was his undying loyalty to Astronema that allowed him to overcome his programming. Even after Darkonda cybernetically enhanced him, he was still loyal to Astronema though him being instrumental in her getting forcefully corrupted into being evil again, it could be seen in a messed up way as him doing it for her own good. Ecliptor probably got wiped by the Z-wave due to his murderous intent towards Andros after he deflected Astronema's Wrath Staff blast back at her.
For me, I grew up watching "Super Samurai" since that was the main Power Rangers on Nickelodeon back than. While at the same time, I watched reruns of "Jungle Fury" and "Dino Thunder". So growing up with these 3 shows are my all time favorites.
@@MollyHuffle Dido. I mean the background of how all their family members like Jayden's father were former Ranger Samurai? That's pretty cool. Plus Deker was an amazing villian with an incredible backstory and Master Xandred was just outright terrifying.

The series that most marked me in childhood was Power Rangers in Space on the Fox Kids channel, when the music was playing I put the TV at maximum volume, good times, golden age, many remarkable series were released one after the other.
Same here. In Space was the first series I remember waking up early on saturdays to watch on Fox Kids. Followed by Lost Galaxy. One of my most vivid memories
Rest in peace, Jason David Frank. Green Ranger (MMPR), White Ranger (MMPR), and Zeo Red Ranger are my THREE favorites for JDF's character Tommy Oliver.
I know it’s not the best series, but Samurai was the first one I saw, and it stuck with me. The op is *fire* and I love the fast action from it! The writing definitely could have been better, but it was definitely trying it’s best. I would just make the Mentor less strict, rewrite Spike, and make Jayden more down to earth. I’m gonna binge series like Jungle Fury and Space sometime, but Samurai will always remain top tier in my heart. *Rangers together, Samurai forever!!*
Time Foce for me was and always will be #1. I'm showing my age talking about this, but I remember when this came on Fox Kids and I was HOOKED at the compelling storylines of these Rangers stuck out of time, the out of control/rampaging Quantasaurus Rex they had to control and the ethical battle of whether the Silver Guardians should protect everyone or only the elite/rich citizens..... and these are only SOME of he major plot threads! Time Force blew my mind as to the possibilities as to what Power Rangers story telling could do. And this is why it will always be #1 to me
I can't believe next year will be 30 years since my absolute favorite show as a kid premiered! My top five favorite Power Rangers seasons are Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Lost Galaxy, In Space and Light speed Rescue. My favorite Power Ranger of all time is Trina the Yellow Ranger from Mighty Morphin. Rest in peace to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank. Thank you for helping make my childhood so amazing. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
I loved everything up until mystic force. But the fact that we have over 20 seasons is special. May the power protect them forever RIP JDF. Wild Force and SPD are my favorites. MMPR will always be the GOAT.
Dino Thunder has to be one of the best not just because of an OG ranger (RIP JDF) but because of how much growth the characters had, not to mention that Hailey was like Alpha and Ernie combined into one. Hailey was so supportive of the team.
My favorite season is RPM, and for those who didn't like it( it did too much funny moments for the end of the world, the villain's were boring, they ripped off Astronama with Tenya) I say.. fair. To me though I really enjoyed, a big part of that is how poetic it is, it's a show about an apocalypse, that faced an apocalypse! The higher ups didn't care, the show runner never did anything like PR before, and he had his work cut out for him with adapting Go-Onger into RPM, and that's just the start of the problems. But just like our multi-colored heroes in self assembling Nano-fiber, they overcame that adversity and made some of the most memorable heroes, villain, and mentor of the franchise. There's also the comedy, yes there was a lot but that's because there was also a lot of dark tones with this series where nearly the entire planet is DEAD, and they don't exactly sugar coat that.(My favorite comedy moment has to be where Dillon and Tenya's spy hand get blasted by a laser canon that Doctor K has in the mini fridg-HAHAHA).The writing is the best of the franchise with the snarky banter and meta humor, need I remind you that Flynn used a kalisplosion as an actual weapon. I like the suits and zords as well, I am a big animal person and their combining sequences are pretty cool, and they use them individually from time to time. I feel like some will disagree on the suits because of Go-Onger's race theme, but to me the suits in RPM convey more of machines in general, fast and efficient something that a military squad needs to be, and the detail, from the helmet to the chest, to the cuffs that again are a weapon. Venjix may not be the most interesting villian in terms of personality but there is something to him. He's not even a being just a stream of electrons moving at lightspeed through silicon, copper, and titanium, and he is the darkest and most successful villian of the entire franchise, not to mention he did fight the rangers himself and actually delete Gem & Gemma in the finale. Yes they were revived but tell me you weren't as distraught as the rangers were when it happened. Then the rangers themselves, they go through heavy arcs, especially the good Doctor herself, to the point where the episode dedicated to her backstory is one of the best episodes of the entire franchise.
Honestly, I have to agree with you. This season had so many challenges with in the story line and in the production world, yet it over came them all in amazing ways. Will have to say I appreciated the jokes at things we don't question in PR, such as the explosions and...need I say...spandex?
Tommy: Why can't you just want to rule the world like all the other sickos?" That line was perfect. Tommy is so jaded by that point that even a genocidal lizard monster is just another Tuesday for him.
I’m 27 now but I still remember the excitement watching light speed rescue, in space and wild force brought me as a kid. I was in 2nd grade when wild force came out and it was the shiiiiiz. Holy crap how could I forget time force and galaxy 😭
@@kirkhilljr.5446 time flies man.. I remember how innocent I was when I was younger. Just sitting down watching power rangers or cartoons in general not knowing what is going on in the world. Easier times..
Best Power ranger shows I watched as a kid was Dino thunder and Jungle fury both teams had Powered up modes for extra and Super Dino mode is spikey white stingers🔱🔱.
I love the twist at the end of season 2 of Dino fury. Operation overdrive is a good series. Ninja Storm is a good one and Hunter and Blake are my favorite rangers from that season. From Mystic Force I love how it’s a mystery of the story with Adonna.
In space and Lost galaxy are just too iconic. Its fresh, its dark, its exciting. The psycho ranger plot is the best subplot until today. Also astronema (turns out to be andros’ sister) became pink galaxy ranger was a nice surprise, also they actually killed a ranger on screen.. pretty terrifying for me as a kid
Rest in peace JDF...Rest in peace. Also, I have to say that In Space has to be my favorite season in the series. Especially how it ended an era with Zordon's death.
Now I like this list (I grew up with the originals on Fox Kids) Beast Morphers was a pretty damn good addition to the franchise. It was the only Nickelodeon era that I didn't have to power through to finish.
I definitely agree with In Space being number one. It gave us actual character development, threatening and complex villains that we can actually take seriously, and a finale that is unmatched, although the Dino Fury finale came pretty close.
I was born in 1991, part of the world where I grew up. I was lucky to have access to the original MMPR, first watched it in around 1995 to 1997 in pre school. So I'm a 90's kid. But I also loved Ninja storm which I got to watch from around 2003 to 2005. Rest in peace Tommy Oliver/ Jason David Frank! White Ranger Tiger Power FOREVER!!💓💓💓💓
Fun Fact: Lost Galaxy is the most expensive Rangers production!!! It even has Movie shots in it How is Lost Galaxy not number 1 most depth of any series, it's the real only standalone, has betrayal, deaths, and the coolest power up, the zords even had back stories, the starship trooper uniform and the first episode is best 1st out of any ranger episodes , and best Red Ranger suit out of all........
They had the best actors. Most of the time their lines were delivered naturally and actually felt like realistic dialogue and the characters were multilayered. They all would have thrived in indie dramas/dramadies. It's a shame none them went on to be breakout stars because they had the most potential to be acclaimed actors in my opinion. If I'm not mistaken, I think the only one that was moderately successful outside of SPD power rangers was the red ranger. It's a real shame that these actors aren't in more shows/films.
Ninja Storm and Mystic Force are my favs. Edit: Tbh, these was like the only two shows that had female Blue Rangers (same with the male Yellow Rangers except Ninja Steel). I wish they was more on Power Rangers.
Ninja storm is great. Mystic force had strong points for sure. But nick aka boen (idk how to spell his name) didnt make sense in the beginning. Like how can you not believe it when it happens right in front of you?
Power Rangers In Space is hands down one of the best in my opinion. Good story, powerful villains and well designed zords and characters. As a kid, I remembered that it gave me nightmares watching Darkonda butchering the rangers and their zords. Not to mention the introduction of the psycho rangers and also the rivalries between Ecliptor & Darkonda is one of the trademark of the series.
Of course RPM and Space are going to be on top. Those two are so universally loved by the fandom that seeing those on top is like seeing Tommy or Jason on the top of a ranking list. It's cliche, not that they don't deserve that spot, but does making ranking lists a bit less exciting.

Rest in Peace Jason David Frank. Thank you for giving us so many Great Childhood memories.
Yeah he did 😥
My top 3 are Time force, Lost Galaxy, and in space.
1. In Space 🚀
2. Mighty Morphin (S1) 🦖
3. RPM 🏁
4. Time Force 🕘
5. Dino Thunder 🦕
6. Lost Galaxy 🌌
7. Mighty Morphin (S2) ⚡️
8. Zeo ⚪️🟰📐◼️ ⭐️ 👑
9. Wild Force 🐺
10. Lightspeed Rescue 🚨
It’s settled. In Space proves to be the best season of the franchise.
And rest in peace to veteran and the late Jason David Frank. May the power protect him.
Rest in Peace Tommy, Trini and shane😢😢😢
Once a ranger always a ranger⚡⚡⚡⚡
Dino Thunder will always remain my personal favorite. Great story, awesome zords, villains that capture the audiences interest, and the return of the best power ranger 😊🦖🦕💀
I loved Dino Fury and would strongly argue it should be higher on the list and can't wait to see what Cosmic Fury brings to it as we return to ongoing stories across seasons.
Heavily agree, was very caught off guard by it being so low on the list. I’d argue it should move up to at minimum 15 on this list. Idk if it beats Dino Charge but then again Dino charge should be moved up too IMO.
Cosmic fury was not really good ( my opinion)
100% agree with In Space being #1. That series was so good and the familial aspects are what drove it home for me. For instance, Ecliptor is a machine and was built to be evil, however he deeply loved a human like Astronema and treated her like she was his own daughter. In fact, Ecliptor would kill someone like Darkonda, who was also evil, but somehow, even more evil than he was just to keep Astronema safe. Such a good franchise
Yes exactly
Oh.
Yes! LETS ROCK IT! ⚡️
Yet Ecliptor dies from the Z-wave even though he had that sliver of good within him.
Ninja storm is too low. It should be top 10 for sure.
RIP Jason David Frank. Once a Ranger always a Ranger
Always to remember Fox Kids.
Mighty Morphing , Wild Force ,Time force , Overdrive , Dino Thunder , Jungle Fury , Space , Zeo , Mystic Force and galaxy was my top watch 👌🏾
For me, I grew up watching "Super Samurai" since that was the main Power Rangers on Nickelodeon back than. While at the same time, I watched reruns of "Jungle Fury" and "Dino Thunder". So growing up with these 3 shows are my all time favorites.
Loved Samurai. I know that season gets a lot of hate but I did enjoy the characters and their dynamics even if the overall story struggled.
@@MollyHuffle Dido. I mean the background of how all their family members like Jayden's father were former Ranger Samurai? That's pretty cool. Plus Deker was an amazing villian with an incredible backstory and Master Xandred was just outright terrifying.
@@michaelgualtieri651 Trueeee. I wish they showed more of their conflicts and struggles giving up their mundane lives to fulfill family duties or the burden of keeping people safe.
@@michaelgualtieri651 Def Deker was awesome and Xandred too
@@MollyHuffle Comapre to it's super sentai version it's bad
I grew up on re-runs of Mighty Morphing and watched religiously through Wild Force. Power Rangers was my childhood and JDF’s demise truly hurts. He was a hero to many, as well as me. RIP

true
No it's not the best power ranger series and if there is no super sentai then there will be no power ranger either.
@@aromalja9861 okay but nobody knew that back then and they weren't ever gonna be super popular in there own country.

SPD emergency, no series can complete with its storyline, thrill and excitement that SPD brought, remember as a kid I imagined to be a SPD ranger.❤
Dino charge was my first power rangers show, gotta watch all of them one day.
RIP, JDF.
I've gotta go with Mighty Morphin'. That's my childhood.
Rest in peace, Jason David Frank.
Green Ranger (MMPR), White Ranger (MMPR), and Zeo Red Ranger are my THREE favorites for JDF's character Tommy Oliver.
Started to watch the Green Ranger saga again. Love it . Rest easy brotha🙏
I feel you mate
@@AdithJai same.
Samurai was also my first season
Lost Galaxy will always be my favorite series. Great theme song, cast, the whole floating colony, to the Magna Defender. It’s all so great
Dino Thunder & Mystic Force are my favorites.
And this is why it will always be #1 to me
Trip and Jen were my favorite characters in Time Force.
R.i.p to Jason David Frank
I'm a big fan of Power Rangers since 1993
1. time force
2. Mighty morphin
3. Lightspeed rescue
4. SPD
5. Dino thunder
Ninja storm will forever be my favorite and theme song is so nostalgic
For me the best season was Lost Galaxy, followed by Time Force.
R.I.P. Every Power Rangers actor and actress who passed away
R.I.P. Jason David Frank you may be gone but you will never be forgotten May the power always protect you even in the great beyond.
Dino Thunder has to be one of the best not just because of an OG ranger (RIP JDF) but because of how much growth the characters had, not to mention that Hailey was like Alpha and Ernie combined into one. Hailey was so supportive of the team.
Rip Jason David Frank No one can forget his contribution in Power Rangers May the power protect him always
Psycho Rangers took villains to a level unseen by a young me. The creativity on how they were defeated was good too.
Powers rangers was my go to show to watch growing up, and JDF was my childhood like so many other 90's kids
Tommy: Why can't you just want to rule the world like all the other sickos?"
That line was perfect.
I'm 28... right there with you man. I remember all of that. Good times...
Dino thunder ninja storm and time force are the absolute goats
WOOO!!! JUNGLE FURY & RPM TOP 10!!!!!!! 🥳
I love the twist at the end of season 2 of Dino fury. Operation overdrive is a good series. Ninja Storm is a good one and Hunter and Blake are my favorite rangers from that season. From Mystic Force I love how it’s a mystery of the story with Adonna.
It's great there are fans of Operation Overdrive. Ninja Storm was pretty cool and I'm just starting Mystic Force again!
Aside from the original song. Lost Galaxy had the best intro song….it just got you pumped up for the show.
To the power, POWER RANGERS LO-LO-LOSSSTT GALAXYYYY🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Jason David Frank as Tommy was a legendary ranger who will be missed
Technically only one of the Dino Fury Rangers was a teenager.
Dino Thunder was a huge part of my childhood.
Jason David Frank was in literally almost every Power Rangers reunion. It’s going to painful without seeing him anymore! Rest in Peace 💔💔💔💔💔
Tbf, the psycho rangers saga were the first time the good rangers could've been defeated convincingly
Super Samurai was my favorite with Jungle Fury being my 2nd
I'm still crying about the recent loss of Jason David Frank.
me too he was the last piece of my childhood
Me too :(
I Always Wanted To Be Heroic Like Him When i Was a Kid...
R.I.P Jason David Frank
“Once A Ranger, Always A Ranger”
Rest in peace JDF...Rest in peace.
Also, I have to say that In Space has to be my favorite season in the series. Especially how it ended an era with Zordon's death.
Time force is my favorite ! The storytelling is just phenomenal
You know, you guys usually have awful power rangers lists, but this, I have no major gripes with. This is solid work. Well done.
Time force has probably my favorite theme song
Now I like this list (I grew up with the originals on Fox Kids) Beast Morphers was a pretty damn good addition to the franchise. It was the only Nickelodeon era that I didn't have to power through to finish.
My childhood was Mystic Force at 7:30 pm and SPD at 8:00 pm
I saw Operation Overdrive back in 2007, so I guess that was at 7:00, wasn't it?
My favorite series are Dino Charge, Samurai, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, and Jungle Fury!
Rest In Power to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank. ⚡
Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger.
Fun Fact: Lost Galaxy is the most expensive Rangers production!!!
It even has Movie shots in it
How is Lost Galaxy not number 1 most depth of any series, it's the real only standalone, has betrayal, deaths, and the coolest power up, the zords even had back stories, the starship trooper uniform and the first episode is best 1st out of any ranger episodes , and best Red Ranger suit out of all........
My favorite series is S.P.D.
It's not as goofy or fake as the other Power Rangers series have had.
I love S.P.D. as well, especially the theme tune kicks ass.
Time force is technically number 1.. it was the only one to get Grammy nominated
There's also tideos from alien rangers and the A-squad yellow.
Samurai will always be my favorite
Power Rangers In Space is hands down one of the best in my opinion. Good story, powerful villains and well designed zords and characters. As a kid, I remembered that it gave me nightmares watching Darkonda butchering the rangers and their zords. Not to mention the introduction of the psycho rangers and also the rivalries between Ecliptor & Darkonda is one of the trademark of the series.
Thank you for this list. I will watch all episodes again. 😁
Of course RPM and Space are going to be on top. Those two are so universally loved by the fandom that seeing those on top is like seeing Tommy or Jason on the top of a ranking list. It's cliche, not that they don't deserve that spot, but does making ranking lists a bit less exciting.
