@@NickKTravel Koreans eat 누른밥 (nureunbap), or "scorched rice," because it has a unique, crispy texture and a distinct, slightly nutty flavor that many find delicious. It forms naturally at the bottom of the rice pot when rice is cooked over heat, and traditionally, it was considered a tasty, sometimes special part of a meal. Some people also appreciate it for its nostalgic value, as it can be associated with comfort food or shared as a snack with family. Additionally, the crispy rice is sometimes served with a bit of tea or broth to soften it, making it a warm, satisfying dish. It is an acquired taste.
Ahaaa~As soon as I play the video, 4:46 Nick K, Nick T is eating delicious burgers, so I have to go a delicious Hamburger house in Mokdong for a late lunch today. lol 😋🍔🍟🍕 😅❤
The burnt rice broth actually came from back in the days when you would cook rice over fire (Remember the huge pot Jay showed you in Jeju?). The base would burn so you would put water and boil it so the rice would come off the pot!
Thank you for the video, Nick and Macho Man! You were right to use hot water with the scorched rice, but I think the rice was burned a bit too much. When that happens, it ends up tasting like ashes. It should be just scorched enough to bring out its savory flavor. I miss the cosmos flowers and reed fields in Korea.
Eating from the bone and drinking the broth from the bowl, sun-tinted skin, beard, wild hair in a ponytail… oh yeah…absolutely solid to me no matter how the food tastes 😋
Did you guys have good time in the love hotel? I am curious about it. 😝😝😝Youngsan river bike path is so peaceful and beautiful that I want to ride a bike along the road someday.
lol, we ended up walking around the town for a bit to find a bite to eat, I think we passed at by 9 pm tho, we were dead! cycling 100 kilometers will wear you out!
@@NickKTravel Yea, I can imagine how hard it is to ride 100km in a day with all your stuff in the back and front. I do that for myself several times in a year though.
@@NickKTravelHan gang(river), Youngsan gang(river)....gang(is river) sounds between ghang and Kang. So, 'Hangang river' is basically incorrect because it is redundant. Got it, Nick? I hope it levels up your Korean a little bit.
Love that why pay more it’s good enough. I made self burgers at home, although a bit messier a million times better than the overpriced 5 guys and shake shack
I always have so much fun watching your adventures. The weather’s getting colder, so here’s hoping you stay safe and have a wonderful trip wherever you go! Happy holidays and Happy New Year!@@NickKTravel
So, who has the best burger in Korea?
Cry Burger! It’s a copycat of In-N-Out. 😅
The Zesty Saloon's whole shrimp burger with wasabi sauce is the best in Mokdong, Seoul.👍❤
I like a incredible burger of mom's touch brand. hhh It's just my cup of tea.
There are some nice burger houses in itaewon seoul

@@NickKTravel You can eat rice and drink soup, both. It is like rice tea.

pretty sure the water for the rice is just to keep it from sticking, also easier for them to clean it after
i think you're right!

You can just flip that top bun over and eat it that way. Love pizza burgers.

their chicken burgers are good!
yesss subtitles are available 👍
good to know, thank you!
It looks like 2 homeless dude crusing with bicycle in southern part of Korea.

dating? nah. I'm sure we're not the first two traveling buddies to share a love hotel while traveling
