We tried out a new layout for the 3rd generation Sienna, with a galley that is made to be used from inside and outside. A much wider bed that comfortably sleeps two, and even MORE storage space all add up to a layout that we think is pretty sweet!

Great build! I like how it’s very modular and maximizes the bed size. I’ve never understood why so many build wall cabinets that might look cool but cut into the potential for two people in bed.

Fantastic build! I love the use of the milk crates, something we have used in all kinds of storage situations around our house and cabin. The kitchen is my favourite of all the ones I've seen so far. Well done!

Very nice layout! I've seen other videos of Toyota Sienna builds where they put either a toilet and/or a sit-down shower at the back in the area where you put the kitchen (using the deep foldaway seat storage). If I do a Sienna build, I'll try to see if I can get both a smaller kitchen and bathroom at the back.

Love it! Really a clean and functional buildI. I noticed the interior walls are so white. What type of paint did you use to withstand the humidity and big temp fluctuations it will be subjected to?

Thanks! We actually removed all of the middle row rails as well as the plastic vent tops located under the back row seats. This left the van floor pretty much flat all the way through. Cheers!

Looks really clean. How sturdy do you feel on the bed at night? My only concern is that it might shake a good bit during the night.
Thanks! It’s pretty rock solid. The only thing you might get is the odd creaking sound if you’re moving around.

I don't understand how easily the pinholes aligned allowing the pins to be simply dropped into holes. Also, for safety, the whole structure needs to be secured to the van in case of sudden aggressive stops or car movements.
The pins are a lot easier to align and be placed into the pinholes when using two hands. Since I was recording this video in one hand, I only had one free hand.
The floor/benches are bolted to the kitchen with (8) 1/2” bolts, so it’s solidly one piece. Also, you can slide the passenger seat back so that it’s up against the bench. Which will make sure the floor is locked in place, and doesn’t move at all while driving. Thanks!
hi. What white material did you use for this build?
It's 11 ply, 3/4" Birch plywood that we then painted white, so it's incredibly sturdy!
