I didn't want the divorce. My husband turned 50 and told me he wanted to be single. We were married for 10 1/2 years and he walked out. I was a good wife. I was faithful to him. He came back a few months later and said he would come back if we could have an "open" marriage. I told him that I wanted a "real" marriage or no marriage. No extra relationships on the side! I am an old fashioned lady and won't be any other way. I have been very hurt and disappointed by this divorce.

You will have another opportunity for marriage, but with a worthy spouse, during the millennial reign of Christ. For the bride of Christ will become joint rulers - true marriage covenants are eternal. See 1 Peter 3:7 take note when a married couple lives up to the Lord's standards of marriage will be "heirs together" - then read Romans 8:15-18

My husband of 38 years was having a affair and gaslighting me to leave and go back to Alabama so they could have everything. He has turned my children , he has no children against me. Making them believe his lies. I’m disabled unable to work. God has kept my needs met. I am a broken woman. Divorce is still going on it’s been almost two years. He is a very manipulative man and disregards anything the judge says. Please pray for me.

Took years of tears, prayers and counseling to let him go. Asking for continued prayers of healing.

That's when you know that she chose the world over God's word! The enemy is out to destroy as many marriages as he can. I'm literally trying to save my marriage and we are separated. Separation doesn't mean you can do what you want and start having affairs. In God eyes, you both are married no matter how you look at it and you are going against his word. When people get to a point and stop fearing God, that's when you know the enemy is attached and trying to hold on to destroy the marriage so they can satisfy their own worldly pleasures!! I'm hoping that my wife will come around to her senses and realize that we both need other, forgive and let's do what is required by Christ. I really hope that you and your wife marriage was saved 🙏

The biggest no fault divorce is said because they fell out of love with each other. You don't fall out of love, you stop working on it, you dedication, your commitment, your love. That was my problem and I almost walked away because I let myself have feelings for someone else. He asked me to give it 2 months, until our 10th anniversary. We prayed, we cried, I found God, and we found each other gain. That was 19 years ago and I am thankful every day God sent a man that lets God guide him. I shudder to think what I was willing to walk away from.

i have the opposite thing going. My wife held a grudge and lied to cover the grudge repeatedly. oover 25 years. Even now she has finally admitted it, asked forgiveness, But will not change the negative behavior, will not do the James 5:16. So.....now what. A proven lifetime , of lying to me, I did ask often is there anything else bothering you? We dont keep peace very long. So how do you live with a liar, who wont pray?

This may be a true katheline, But guess what the Revelation is my dear? I was sent a prophetess who helped me escape an abusive marriage & I was feeling these scriptures so I held on for 7 years. However, death is also defined as "spiritual death" that's how I was mentally freed. He was Spiritually dead!!!
Sorry Penny that's not true, in that passage it's referring to physical death, You never stay in an abusive situation where you are in harms way, you can leave that situation but not divorce, just remain unmarried or be reconciled to your husband. God could save him and change his life. I know of situations where the woman left the abuse but she never remarried, even after the spouse died. As long as you don't remarry. your'e not in sin. Everyone that carries the title of A prophetess is not Spirit led. the bible says try the spirits to see if they are of God. If the person speaking and the Word doesn't agree the person is wrong. The Word of God is Truth...
Penny, you are wrong. Death is dead in the grave! God said it is until death and He is the only one who decides. For abuse you can leave and remain single or else be reconciled. Remarriage is adultery. I have a playlist of over 40 videos teaching the truth of the permanence of marriage.

7. MARRIAGE is a legal CONVENANTAL agreement that only GOD can divorce.
8. CONVENANT is only broken by death--CONVENANTAL DEATH.

Iam so blessed with this sermon and wisdom so much insight.The body of Christ likened unto the woman.
I am going through the most. My heart is shattered coz of my husband's extra marrital.afair. I dont have energy for my marriage anymore. I dont know how to change my situation. I hate myself so much for not being enough for him. Ooh help me Lord.
My ex husband was extremely abusive and cheated throughout our entire relationship.
He had two children with two different women during our relationship. I tried to stay in the marriage several times, however once the physical abuse began I just couldn’t find the strength to stay in a relationship with him. As I listen to this message, I get that once you are married that you are supposed to stay with your spouse. However, was I supposed to stay in that chaos for the sake of the covenant? I have accomplished so much more since not being in the marriage with my ex-husband. The only thing I haven’t been blessed with is a husband. As I am writing this I think I have answered my own question. I have forgiven him for the things that he did in the marriage that led to the divorce, and trust me I wasn’t no angel either. However, I am ready to remarry and move on with my life. How do I get to being married again?

So there is a difference between the bond between a husband and wife (for life) and this being 'bound' or 'under bondage'.
So I am still bound to my husband (married in God's eyes, no matter what man says), but not under bondage to him. He does not rule over me, but I am not free to marry someone else because he is still my husband.
It is interesting that Paul says these two things in the same chapter
First he says the believer is not 'bound' under the circumstance of their unbelieving spouse leaving them, and then he says that a wife is 'bound' to her husband as long as he is still living. It seems to contradict, but it doesn't. It's a different word. - Ricky B

Abuse in Marriage people say there are gray areas what about abuse well the bible DOES talk about it! Why have we never seen this or our pastors talked about it?

And God made him like an animal for 7 years and then God gave him back his mind and he submitted to God! “God moved king Saul’s heart” in 1 Samuel 10:9 and the “valiant men whose heart God had touched” in 1 Sam 10:26. Did not God move in in the nation of Israels hearts and put his spirit in them Ezekiel 36 and breath into the dead dry bones in Ezekiel 37? Didn't God move in King Cyrus's heart to let His people go? Ezra 1:5 The the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites-everyone whose heart God had moved!!- prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. Didn't Jesus come and bring Lazareth out of the grave when they said if you had of come sooner Jesus he would not have died...He is body is stinking now no hope!!! And THEN Jesus spoke life into him and brought the dead back to life! He is just looking for someone to have the faith to believe what is in the Bible. Will you?

Holy Spirit, please heal my marriage 🙏 Please bring my family back together🙏 I know that you want this, I know you favor this and I am ready. I am here to submit to my husband and make amends🙏 I pray for healing and peace and to leave a legacy to my children that their parents loved the Lord, that we want to please him. Not for us but for him be the Glory🙏 Lord I pray you restore our foundation and rebuild this family on faith and love🙏 Amen. Please pray for my family.

I'm divorced a year. I filed for it my husband who live Nigeria left you come back,left me with my four year old daughter and his son who was five months. After the third year he stop communicating with me,every time I try to have a conversation as to where our marriage stands he never have the chance to talk. I got fed up of waiting and I filed for a divorce last year. Our son is eight years and never seen his father face to face. He doesn't call to talk to him or send anything for him. I don't even have a contact for him. I still question myself,if I didn't the correct thing by divorcing him😔

I’ve been biblically divorced twice due to adultery on both husbands part in the marriage. However if you get divorced while yet a sinner, doesnt God forgive all your sins as far as the East is from the west.
