Talking about how they still have the chemistry, Got7 is one of the few groups that I can wholeheartedly say are family not coworkers. They love being together, for them a comeback is an excuse to get together and play around. All of them - especially leader Jay B - worked so hard to stay together and to get the full rights to their name and music(actually, they only recently finally won their old accounts back! So it's been an ongoing process up until now). Jay B studied the law hard to win their rights, and told the members while crying he can't be without them and if anyone tried to walk away he would follow and fight for them to come back. He went to each of their houses individually to get their signatures for the trademark and ownership of Got7. He waited to announce what company he joined and his solo stuff until everyone else was settled in their new companies because he felt that was what a leader should do. Being Got7's leader is the most special thing to him. Everyone has their own schedules and companies, some live in different countries, and they all work so hard to come back together every time they can. It's not easy, and it's not as often as they or we would like, especially with enlistment, sometimes practices only had 2 or 3 members at a time. Sometimes, members were flying out of and back into south korea within 24 hours to go do their own schedules and then come back to practice. While we of course all want to think our favorite groups are like a family, some have admitted they're more like coworkers and that's okay! You might be close to some members and not so close to others it's only natural. But as for Got7, Jackson said it best, "it's 7 or never, 7 or nothing", and when you look at how much affection oozes out of their eyes when they look at eachother you just know they're in this got7 shit for life
Not me sitting here and crying over what you shared here… I knew about them wanting to keep their name and whatnot, but I had no idea Jay B was so gung-ho and did/said all that. I adore that man as much as I can as a stranger. Thank you so much for sharing that info here!
Do you remember you've reacted to the valorant song superpower with kiss of life Natty, Julie and Mark Tuan before (you mistaken him for another mark)? this is the group Mark Tuan belongs to. It was animated mv so he doesn't appear on it, but on here he is the third from right, with the grape sweater.
