I can't say I've ever had a tour of another man's bottom drain before 🤔😂. Great video very informative. Your sir have just earned another subscriber 👍🏻
I know what you mean the summer holidays has given me time to catch up on the pond video work but back to school this week I'm a support worker engineering and wood work. Will try to keep up the video a week but time you film it edit it. I'm taking about 7-8 hours a video and seem to be bashing my head on the wall getting the subscriber count to rise but hay ho you get to be the star of a video. Martyn
You can probably tell i just , film straight to phone and pause when I need to and upload straight from there. I wont ever be a slick presentation although I appreciate everyone elses efforts !
I guess that answers my question on if your drain can go up and then down some for those who don't have a drain field. The website claims you have to have your pump below the outlet on the sieve is that true?
@@micrafamily1432 you are using external pump right? and its gravity feed. if you videos please give the link so i can have idea on how to this please.
Thanks for the reply, bought mine 2nd hand and thought it had to be above pond level and pump fed after watching other videos. Not yet plumbed in the sieve and filter still running on my old system. Thanks

Hi beautiful setup. How to you stop the baby fish from getting sucked through the bottom drain? Thanks

where did you put the pump sir? if its bottom drain system, the pump will be used to return the water to the pond right?
Yes pump was connected to the sieve bottom outlet directly and pump returned to pond need to be at least 10k per hour t o keep up with sieve

@@edrianjaytalle681 gravity to sieve yes.
Once sieve is not being pumped , if pumps fails or similar the sieves floating weir stops the flow.
can i see where did you pur the pump? .is it from the bottom drain, pump then to the sieve? how many pumps did you used?
What are the black bugs stuck on the weir
Fly lava free food for the fish
I used to scrape them into pond or aquarium
Hi is that the same as Flashing the bottom Drain.
Yes its flushing BD
Do those little fences keep cats away , the local cats are spooking my fish.
Hi I have just watched your video, can you tell me where your pump is located in the system. Many thanks Rich
Hi richard
Pump was fitted direct to the sieve outlet then through UV to main filter

Great video and just got given a Cetus. Do you then pump out from the return to your filter ?
Hi pump from bottom of Cetus to gravity return filter, or pump to a filter and pump out but would be tricky to balance
Wilkins Family thinking of raising my Cloverleaf CL2 filter, meaning I can pump from the gravity fed sieve to the filter and have a gravity return
