Nhi. Depend karta he generator model aur AVR excitation voltage range par. 40 vdc tak bhi hotay hen dc volt.

1. We provide 12 volts to avr instead of potentiometer.
2. First we start gen without load, than after constant rpm we instantly connect positive terminal to avr ....?
if you want to test Avr so you can give battery supply for few seconds just to mae sure your winding and rectifier circuit is good or not. but if you want to run generator on load than you will need potentiometer for maintain voltage at a constant level
