The Lickliter has great tones indeed!
It's always interesting to hear how your inspiration from the gear drives your choices on the intro tune...very heavy and proggy here.
Some of the best tones I've heard on this channel. Amazing amp.
AWESOME sounds!!!
Kerrrrang! Seriously modded Marshall tones. Harmonics galore!
The sound of the amp is just unbelievable...
Incredible sounding amp!
Great sounding amp, great opening track as always.
Sounds absolutely killer!
WOW! That was GREAT!
Great playing man. Sounds Killer !
Killer opening tune!!!
My 13rd old brain thought the amp was called “cl1tlicker”. No shame.
I feel ya! I had so say it, and sometimes it would come out, "like Licker".
Oh and BTW, do some more demos with your orange Warmoth guitar. 😀👍
Sounds great!
Great stuff Michael. Rock at its finest brother!😊
That has a really cool,sound.
Sounds huge!
That was some seriously tasteful playing, young man!
And this amp sounds amazing indeed. ❤
Freakin Love your intros 🤘
Reminds me of the Friedman Naked head
Very articulate sounding amp , reminds me of my Ada Mp1 3tubemod > mesa 2:fifty , for me nothing has come close to how responsive the ADA 3TM is yet !
Really dig the composition, Michael - agree w/ other commenters that there is a slowish, very dark sounding Lynch-ness to it (in an absolutely awesome way).
Amp sounds sick
I love your intros on all of your videos. You are awesome brother!
I appreciate that! THANK YOU. I'm working on an album of guitar music. I'll be out this year.
Sounds awesome, coupled with some tasteful playing and composition.
You really should bring out an album of your tunes, this one in particular is a cracker.
Man I’ve never heard a Lickliter clip that wasn’t killers and this is no exception.
This is like a 2.1. Steavens.
The Vai influence is strong. Very tasty!
Very cool amp. Somewhere between a Soldano and a Cameron, but unique enough.
Michael, Your playing is so enjoyable every time I hear you. I wish you give me some of that tasty mojo phrasing!!!!
Sounds fantastic. Would I buy this??? No, I need a clean channel. But knowing the voicing and quality I am more than willing to check out this company. Thanks Michael, this hands down one of the best sounds
Man thats more modded Marshall. Than a modded Marshall. They shamed Marshall. Too bad Marshall hasn't moved into this century
Apparently they’re focusing on their headphone and Bluetooth player business, so we probably should lower our expectations.
Cantrell approved👊
Reminds me of a Wizard ?
Sounds super good,,..
Love the EL34 sound and feel. Something tells me that this thing with 6L6’s get close to the Soldano vibe???
Any boost in use here? Great tones! Not a tele fan but that is one tough sounding tele! I've known Mike for many years, served in the USAF with him and he's a great dude, great guitar player as well!
4:17...holy f***k...he hinted!
Please tell us a bit more about the Tele, it sounds amazing. How does it play? What is it? Great demo of a new amp!❤
Seconded - I need more info on that guitar (and the bridge pickup specifically). Looks and sounds incredible
What's that tele in the opening jam? Kind of has a grosh headstock
Luxxtone. I've had it for 15+ years. It has an amazing neck. Like an old Charvel.
Tone @8 minute mark was nasty! Good nasty 😆
Had a better chance to convince the wife to get one if I was called Lickharder👹
amp sounds pretty good, but im struck by the notes and timing choices made by the player.
🎵r0ck0n 🎵
How irritating that you have to actually email them for prices after clicking “prices” on their drop-down menu. Nice sounding amp. Cosmetics, not so much, but I’d play through a potato if it sounded good.
It's a super small company. I think the Scalpel's are in the upper 2k range.
@@BigHairyGuitars Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. Lots of small builders publish prices, though. Actually, I can’t think of one that doesn’t, but that could just be sampling bias on my part.
@@brianh4625 You're 100% right (IMHO). I think they're still getting the launch off the ground.
@@BigHairyGuitars Well, you represented their gear well! It got me to go looking for them!
Sounded very generic, sterile high gain to me. All boom and sizzle. Sharp but no richness or fullness to the midrange. I like an amp that can bark in that midrange. The lower gain tone was that very typical high gain circuit being neutered sound. Not good for classic rock at all. I know some will love it but this amp is definitely not for me.
Great sounds, terrible brand name
Lynch vibes from the melody
Same!
Yes my exact thought!!! Fantastic song!! Super melodic.
