How irritating that you have to actually email them for prices after clicking “prices” on their drop-down menu. Nice sounding amp. Cosmetics, not so much, but I’d play through a potato if it sounded good.

Sounded very generic, sterile high gain to me. All boom and sizzle. Sharp but no richness or fullness to the midrange. I like an amp that can bark in that midrange. The lower gain tone was that very typical high gain circuit being neutered sound. Not good for classic rock at all. I know some will love it but this amp is definitely not for me.

It's a super small company. I think the Scalpel's are in the upper 2k range.
