Then I'm broke
@@stay.in.school. kids my age earning 30K a year and here I am still living with my parents 😭
I am in my early 60s and retired at 53. Lots of people gave me pushback because they had difficulty grasping the concept of not working if you don’t have to. I looked at my life as stages. I earned everything I have now through a lot of hard work, but I owe it to myself to “stop and smell the roses” in my final stage of life. In my case I left the country after I retired and live in Latin America. It allowed me to get away from all the negative things happening in America while appreciating my new environment. I have yet to meet anyone who regrets retirement.
Nice way to retire. For me, I believe retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I both spent same number of years in the civil service, she invested through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning after our retirement fund has grown way more than it would have with just the 401(k). Haha.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than a million dollars by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.
I definitely share your sentiment about these firms. Finding financial advisors like *Layan Talia Chokr* who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
You just mentioned Expert Laura, Indeed, wow that woman has been an incredible mentor to me, imparting a deep understanding of the economy that I wish college had provided.
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional
I know Laura, she has really set the standard for others to follow, we love him here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of lives.
You're right! The very first time I tried, I invested $2000 and after a week, I received $8,400. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills
This is specifically for the United States. You have to factor in cost of living into the equation. eg the median income in the UK is nowhere near £67,000 for men 45-50, unless you are talking about professional men -- which is 20% of the population. If you're 50 and making £67k in the UK, you are in the upper bracket of income earners. Even amongst bankers, lawyers and doctors the median income is about £150k.
You get taxed over 50% of your income once you're in the high income tax bracket anyway, so these salaries being talked about aren't even really take home pay.
I'm 43 and I'm no where near 35 😂 Damnit
You can increase this with strategy. 1. look at the jobs in your field, which are paying 40k on Indeed. See what the job description says. 2. Learn everything in the job description. you can do this in a year. Take a niche course in your field (the most demanded in the job descriptions). Get your current company to pay for the course (selling how it will benefit the company/your boss personally). 3. After the year, jump ship to another company in the same industry -- apply for 40k jobs -- tell them you will accept 35k becuase you like the company. 4. after a year, apply for another job (40k) until you get an offer, then tell your current employer what the new job is offering. there are cv / resume analysis programs online which will tell you what you are worth. always ask for 10% more than you are worth. apply for jobs you would not normally apply for, leveraging your personal skills (as opposed to your professional skills). before you accept any job, negotiate. there are some good videos on youtube about negotiating salary. there are a couple of other things: read leadership books and biographies (and How to win Friends and influence), buy new clothes and shoes and a new watch. they dont have to be expensive.
I’m sure 70% of people are in the same boat including me 😅 there’s no timeline to these things.
we dont need income, what we need is heritage and property
Writing from Canada. I grew up below the poverty line and went into state care at 13. Now I'm a Director in Risk Management for my country's largest bank. I make more than the median for all age brackets and am just shy of the high end for my age range. Education has provided the biggest ROI of any investment in my life.
My life became kinda sweet when I started watching alux. I stopped watching for like a year or two now I’m back fcked up here on my knees trying to learn something again🤦🏽♂️
How does a high school kid get 3 k a month
Not only is united states but the start you are in Michigan minimum is like 30/ hour Georgia minimum is like 10
I got a job doing construction at 15 and was making 3,500 a month by the time I was 17. No high-school for me, but I've continuously pursued self-education, and now, at 24, I am on track to make 140K this year. I now work on gas and oil pipelines, and I have a small concrete business where I pour people's driveways in my time off.
Out of all the financial institutions on TH-cam you are the only one who gives the easiest way to get rich. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject..Thanks to Laura Ferguson the lady you recommended.....
I always wanted to trade for a long time but the volatility price has been confusing.
I'll advise you to work with a financial advisor....Building a good investment portfolio is more complex so I would recommend you seek

Happy Sunday/Feliz Domingo 🫡!
Are these salaries before tax (gross) or after tax (net)?
Those outside the US and Europe shouldn't just convert these nmbers to their currency. You should remember that the cost of living and avg income are a lot lower elsewhere, so even if you're in the mid or low-end of the spectrum in this video, you're still probably better than 90% of your peers if you live outside the US and Europe ❤
If i were earning $2,500 per month in Nigeria, im balling out of control in the upper class.
I am happily watching in India, if I use PPP I'm median, if I check age and industry, it is still fairly high😅. 1.4 million usd sounds ok if you own property to live in and have good health and better insurance
My earnings as a taxi shrunk from $20-$25 an hour to $15 an hour thanks to over hiring practices in the industry. There's supposed to be a cap on the number of taxis on the road but it's not being enforced. I have to spend nearly every day working to have disposable income. Combine that with a 2009 job market and it's created a hole for me that's difficult to get out of. Transportation companies don't want drivers to make any money, even though we're the ones bringing in the revenue!!!
Second comment for the first time , like if you want to be a future billionaire

My opinion is since 80% of the universe is dark matter, which does not interact with the electromagnetic/light, we CAN shed light on it. All religions say, BOW YOUR HEAD AND CLOSE YOUR EYES AND VISUALIZE.

Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, and other powerful nations waking up to trade in their own currencies. Good thing is, a lot of people still turn to the Dollar because of the safety is somehow assures. I'm worried about my retirement savings of about $420,000 losing value because of these factors and more. Where else can we keep our money?
The honest advice Just buy Gold and protect your assets, the stock market is a rollercoaster
The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds.
@@perefeghaandrew8076Wow it seems you're conversant with the market, can you please share some insights on how to get the best from it,
Honestly As a newbie about to invest, you must have these three things in mind
1. Have a long term mindset.
2. Be willing to take risk.
3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending.
4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor.

I'm 37. I work as a tour guide in Las Vegas, between base pay and tips I gross about $95k. I'm currently working on starting my own tour business, the first 18mo I expect to either meet that or lose about 5-10k. After that point I will be able to start scaling the business and a year from that point I should be able to easily double that. This tour company is just a start to another business that I want to create but it requires a lot of capital to get started. One thing I need to get comfortable with is investing. I am a very calculated risk taker so gambling is out of the picture for me, that also includes stock and other similar investments but I know that I will have to start investing my money because at a certain point you are losing money just holding onto cash. Btw, this is all presumptive that Trump wins the election and we do not have a complete economic collapse, WW3 etc. God Bless Trump and God Bless the United States of America.

I think they mean you need 1.4 million in savings in order to earn enough interest to comfortably live off it passively.
Please share in Indian currency because according to this statistics i can't find relevant to me seriously in India 30000$ is 18lacs a year which is not getting at any point if you are in medium industry for this kind of income we have to pass Jee Or Neet Exams or be an doctor

I’m a lady in the UK … I earn £172, 240 a year. I’m in the extremely high income bracket but not sure where this money goes.
I’ve been just in the top 1% of earners since Age 40. I’m a physician and basically on a salary ( not a CEO or own a business). I’ve been blessed to serve, earn, and enjoy fulfillment. I am 67 years of age and would like to retire by 70. I am debt free however I am a widowed and I am afraid that besides becoming “ a no one” not be fulfilled . So that’s my dilemma. It’s sounds trivial however it is not unless you were never fulfilled and do not know the difference. ( believe me you can be getting royalties from hit songs you wrote and perform and not be fulfilled).
