Doctor, An intramural fibroid of 7cm can cause miscarriage at week 13 of pregnancy? Do you prefer a robotic myomectomy before trying to conceive either naturally or through an embryo transfer?
If your fibroid caused the miscarriage you need to remove the fibroid. YOu dont need a robot to remove a 7cm fibroid. Any good laparoscopic surgeon can remove it laparoscopically. 6 months after the surgery you can try to conceive on your own. Not need for IVF or embryo transfer if you conceived naturally before. Hi doctor , I’m currently 3 months pregnant with my first IVF attempt. I got 2 intramural fibroid around 2.8cm which is embedded within uterus wall. Will it harm my pregnancy ? My gunae said as this is embeds within the wall not necessary for surgery. I’m currently in my 12th week
I have anterior cervical fibroid (intramurial type) the size of a grape or 2-3cm. Would this interfere with fertility and implantation ?. Please advise doctors don’t recommend to do surgery. Since I got this fibroid last year I spot and bleeding during ovulation now which never had before fibroid. Is there meds I should take like prometrium suppository 200mg twice per day on 3dpo could that help. I have adenomyosis diffuse, aps and alloimmune disorder and 4 loses in 2nd trimester and 6wk loss when I was diagnosed with fibroid. Thanks
Your conditions seems complicated with adenomyosis, fibroid and irregular periods. Cervical fibroids do not affect your menses. The adenomyosis may be the problem. You need to think of treating them because of your pregnancy losses. A new option is HIFU to shrink fibroid and adenomyosis.
