- Welcome to the Yacht Club aboard the MSC World Europa and join us for a jam packed full day episode, the longest vlog I've ever made. From the arrival to the late night pizza with breakfast, jetski, dinner, and a bar crawl in between.
I don't like snails but you've inspired me try them they looked delicious!

The snails themselves have little or no taste, the garlic sauce makes the dish. So if you love garlic, and you don't link them with an actual snail, you'll be hooked for life.

It's exactly how I feel. When everything is good, it would be hard going somewhere else. But often it's not and etc... I say go for it, but with low expectations. Then it can only be better than expected 🤷

What if they upgrade you from a aurea cabine tu a cabin in the yatch club? You still stay with the Aureabpackage how do you enter your cabine?
Of you get the upgrade that will include everything what comes with the YC. That will also include the butler and cruise cards as YC.

Thanks Tony! I always appreciate the input. I know at times it's not easy to hear because of all the surrounding noise. To solve this I would need to mic us. But no funds for that, and it would make the editing job even bigger. But I am aware it's an issue Tony. Thanks for mentioning it!
Just saying but getting a Yatch Club experience in a indoor room is a bit weird of a choice. Rather get a balcony non yacht club. I like your vlogs but at the same time I dislike because you always have this entitled look and feel when ordering or requesting, try looking at your waiters and smile more. They are not there to lick your shoes. Frankly asking your butler to get you in a full booked show is a bit of stretch. Normal people book or just walk there before the show starts because some people that have booked give up… as the video advances you are indeed too entitled behaved… I definitely dislike this vlog.
I respect your opinion but some things need to be put in perspective. The licking my shoes is a stretch that insults me, I am a waiter myself. The worst thing for a waiter is going to a table and having undecided customers. When they come to take my order I'm focussed on beeing ready, clear, quick and make their job as easy as possible. I try to be the easiest table they wait on. There's also a difference in culture depending on what part of the world you're from. Mine is to be calm, collective and thankful. As for the butler, rewatch that part and you will see that my only question is "is there a reserved part of seats for Yacht Club?" The reason I ask is because other cruise lines do this. NCL for example, have Haven seats in the theatre. The butler's reply was "we don't have reserved seats but I will contact the manager and see what is possible." This was not the result I was looking for, you can see I felt awkward and would have gladly taken a no for an answer. The cabin choice has 2 reasons: the cabin itself is of no real importance for us. We booked YC for the benefits of the YC area. The other reason is the price, it allows me to cruise more.
The likes vs dislikes on my video's is 99 to 1. I always wonder what motivates the 1%. You are one of the first that voiced you're opinion, and I'm grateful for that. I want to thank you for taking the time in this comment. I learn the most from a comment like this. Thx

Yes it’s indeed a collective behavior walking around with a hand held camera on a stick filming everyone around you without worrying about how they feel about it. As a waiter would you be ok if all your clients came along with a cam rightly pointing at you all the time, every dinner service? Also ordering a plate that is not on the menu twice just to appreciated the effort of the cook in 6 minutes surely is not cool regarding the cook. I wonder if you can help put that into perspective too.
I don't mind beeing filmed whatsoever but I am not at all neutral (given what I create on TH-cam) so my opinion does not count I think.
As for the filming: I even learned to bring cards to the restaurants because a lot of staff ask me for the channel. Reason beeing is they are away from family and loved ones and they want to let them know so they can "see them in action". I have met staff from a previous cruise and the first thing they do is thank me and say it was so cool to be in the video. One waiter was actually dissapointed when I didn't bring the camera as he just got a haircut! 😅
As for the escargots: I simply asked if the item would return at a certain date. The maitre 'd basicly told us "say when, I gotcha". Since he arranged a double serving for us I don't see why we would have them throw it away. (No they would not refreeze it) Maybe that wasn't clear in the video. I cut that footage in the edit to shorten the video.
Anyway, you learned me that "perspective" is important and I will be more aware of that in future videos.

As a guest, I am mortified when I see some random videotaping myself and/or others without consent for the sake of social media and/or their own promotional purposes. I am an extremely private person, and I want my activities to remain as such also. People like Bram don't care at all about that because they have a channel to run 🙄I feel double for the waiters - what if they wish to be private (from complete strangers online) about where they work and/or what they do or if they don't want their every word and action scrutinized by others through a video snapshot. Bram's behavior comes off as self serving and selfish because it is.
@@Daniel-kk5lx glad to read I am not the only one that feels this way. In my case I just no longer watch this channel. There are others doing similar content but in a way I prefer. To each his own taste… ;-)
