This table arrived well packaged and on time. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!
Just a suggestion, if you make something like this again - I've seen people use a wet sponge or rag to wipe the excess grout off while it is still wet/damp.
Great job. Beautiful table. Hint: pick up extra shower curtains or drop cloths from the Dollar store to cover work areas. Cheap but affective.

Big $store sponge to wipe off grout. This is so much faster and much more effective.
This is beautiful. I’m going to try on a small piece first and add gold specks of paint on the grout.
This is BEAUTIFUL!! Would it be easier to put the grout on first? Like put a good layer, and then push the glass down in it? That way you don't get it all over the glass like that? I'm seriously asking? I've never done this, but have worked with grout before with stones. And I did it like that, and pushed the Stones down in it.

I think it's easier to paint the cardboard first, then glue the mirrors.
She didn’t paint it though. She used grout.
Very cute idea. I am wondering if by adding weight to the box like a few rocks would make it less likely to move around too much. Also, I use the razor scrapers at the DT for a lot of projects...might work well.

Tried doing this and it came out a mess. Gout was not smooth at all

Lots of glitter And shiii I went back to Home Depot and tried again using the scrapper this time. I redid it again for the third time this morning it came of eh but it was better than the other tries. The third time the grout was a bit cracked so I’ve applied more grout and it’s sitting outside now. Hopefully it comes out better this time 😔
