Just used this video to do the change out of my drag link and track bar ball joints. It became obvious very early on that the previous owner was not a believer in copper slip. After 3+ hours of WD-40 and all kinds of elbow grease, I can assure you that I am now a dedicated copper slip disciple. Great video. Thank you or taking the time to explain this so well, so that I was able to get my work done with confidence.
Absolutely the best guide to HD steering bar fitting I've ever seen ... absolutely smashing job Chris! On a side note ... you don't half like your copper slip don't you... lashings and lashings of the stuff... feels good! lol
Friend of mine had the tracking done on his 110, the drag link was siezed, they used heat, stilsons and a scaff bar to try and move it before giving up, he was 2 miles down the road going into a garage when the cross link bracket sheered at the thread and he lost steering, wish the tracking people had seen your warning on excessive heat! Luckily he was only going slow and was OK.
nice kit, only thing I can say is that the HD Drag and Track rods meed machine flats meld in. so you can use a 24mm or some other size wrench to turn when you need to align it.
Great videos as usual! Could you one on greasing the various ball joints, suspension points, types and sizes of grease nipple and how to identify the fitting to choose and use on the grease gun? Nd what are the best bottle jacks to use bearing in mind the height iff the ground the Landcover axles and chassis is?
quick question i instslled a 2"terrafirma lift on my d2 and now the left side is 2" higher than the right in front 2.5" higher in the rear left drivers side are both same height is there a right and left springs or is it something els causing the tilt thanks :)

experience says with steering rod needs lots.

That guard looks thick for a steel piece , was it difficult to install ? or is it lighter than it looks.
Yes easy to install.. but it is quite heavy.
