Dave, between us - when the Missises say "Wow, that's big" they often do not refer to the actual size of for example the zuccini. They often try to encourage our efforts. 😩
The magnet icon is there to indicate that the space it covers next to the shelf/cabinet attracts customers to it. So, placing them next to the entrance means customers will impulse buy the items.
What a nice little game. You didn't inherit it, it wasn't a pig-sty when you got there, and you didn't even have to actually run that cash register (or till) or buy things on a computer, or run around like a mad person trying to put things onto shelves. It was pretty automated except for the decisions about what to sell. I like bananas (you're right... not "love", not my favourite fruit) with peanut butter and brown sugar, in a tortilla wrap (I don't cut the banana up... just peel it and put it on the peanut butter and sugar that's on the tortilla wrap). If you haven't tried it... you should (as long as you're not allergic to peanut butter... or anything else in the mix. Yes!... orange juice and ice cream blended together... serve with a straw. I miss Orange Julius. Tomatoes... one of my favourite fruits... only to me it's a vegetable and I don't care what science says. Vegetable. It goes with lettuce and bacon, not jam. Fresh bread... I need butter with that and I always hope it's still warm.
It's a cute little game. I've played the demo twice. The developer does update the demo from time to time. Personally, I love bananas. But, my job is outside and I live in the southern US. Eating bananas and then going outdoors equals human mosquito/bug magnet.
I love zucchini. My zucchini casserole is amazing, my zucchini bread is amazing, I have some zucchini cookies that are surprisingly good. Surprisingly good. I enjoy zucchini on pizza, I enjoy zucchini grilled, I enjoy it simply sliced as if it were a cucumber. Bananas... I... I really do not even tolerate them. :/
I don't like bananas, but I really like tomatoes, despite being slightly allergic to them. Delicious. Orange juice and vanilla ice cream is a delicious combination. Orange Julius used to be good (and therefore, popular), once upon a time, for a reason. The lack of courgettes between the bananas and the tomatoes made the Adrian Monk in *my* head twitch. You didn't continue the pattern you set. *twitch, twitch*
I hate bananas. A friend grows, amongst other things, zucchini. I got one that weighed 2kg, that's 4,4 in Random Units. I blame the nearby power plant.

It was definitely in reference to the vegetable ;)

"Yes, we have no bananas".

I realised i have the sense of humor of a middle schooler somewhere during this video
And there lies my appeal ;)
