I like them, but unfortunately it won't fit in my garage or parking ramp at work and sadly I have to commute with my Jeep. I've looked at the deep sleep too, but where do you put your gear when you're sleeping? I think the only real choice left is 5 Star Hotels. 🤷♂️ On a more serious note, I'll just stick to a regular old tent... 🙂 Edit : 2 Months Later : I built an overland camper on 35's and paint matched my Jeep. 😄 I still carry a tent though, for surprise adventures when I don't have my camper, and surprise guests (which has never happened yet).
This is insane!!! I love the look and ease of use, the price is a turn off though. But if you are a heavy oberlander when you go out every weekend this would be well worth it.
@@Kyle-ky2po when you pull it down (to close it) it locks into two spring activated latches (in the rear). You can only unlock those latches from the inside of the vehicle.
I really impressed with this but also thinking there is much more can be added to this , for example 1. Making material and finish similar to current factory style with ability to body paint 2. Ability fit rhino rack or other good roof racks on top of this 3. Option of some sky light when tent is closed especially on sides in similar way to Land Rover defender 4. Option of ladder at rear plus canopy extension to cover the ladder area 5. More smooth edges , preferred curved as factory hard top, over sharp angles
Why is it cheaper for other vehicles? When you have to actually cut their top. Verses, AG who has no talk, you can just remove them. Why is it costly? I don't get it. That's extra work having to cut a top off.
Glen You sound like a cheapskate. If you don't like this product...why watch a video about it? Name another camping setup that's cheaper, more lightweight, and easier to set up than this canopy camper?

It does has gas-assisted struts but if I were you I would probably take the canoe off before opening.
