watching this reminds me that I wished I'd have stuck with it when my dad tried to teach me how to play. back when I was a kid, I just didn't want to know, it didn't interest me in the slightest. looking back now as an adult of many years, it's one of my biggest regrets in life. if I could live my life over knowing what I know now, I'd force myself to stick at it. if any kids are reading this and have the opportunity to learn to play the trumpet (or any other instrument for that matter (especially if the chance is there at no financial cost, take it!!!).
You could still learn trumpet even as an adult if you can afford one. You don't necessarily need lessons, but lessons would speed it up. You should give it a go.
Like "The News Is Here" said.. give it a go. I picked up a decent beginner's trumpet in early 2020 in South Texas for $100. They're out there. Heck, an Al Hirt signature trumpet on eBay is less than $500. The trick is building up the embouchure (again in my case). And, I'm 67. Haven't played in ...oh... 30 or 40 years.
Sergei you name is as my Sergio...magnificient,amazing,superb...what performance in Carnival of Venice, also I'm Trumpet player, Bandleader of Dixie Swingers Jazz Band from Lindoia, SP-BRAZIL.I play trumpet since 13 years age today with 68. When I start my studies on Conservatory my teacher apply J.B. Arban and end of my course and formation juror choice " Carnival of Venice ". Thanks. Best Regards.
something like 40 or 50 years ago or so, I played trumpet for a number of years.. and I was really good...I was even pretty good on the Carnival of Venice... but on my best day... i would have been honored to hold a spit rag for Sergei Nakariakov. Awesome!
@@Tasherisdead999 it’s great that you are making so much progress. You should hire a teacher, not to help with the playing, but to put your ego in check.
No need for that silly attempt at sarcasm, in favour of keeping the dignity of this video... I appreciate music as much as I appreciate life, and this is marvelous playing, Nakariakov is the Paganini of trumpet...but that doesn't exclude the fact that there is a fart at 6:31 xD
That is stunningly beautiful, the best ever trumpet .
This has to be the best rendition I've heard on here, and there are so-o many to choose from!
Such wonderful crisp notes. Really brilliant playing.
I love it! Sergei hits all the low notes with such an open sound. I want to get my sound like that.
Are you a trumpet player,too?
Absolutely fantastic. Awesome. Unbelievable. It is a pleasure to such wonderful performant.

It's never late to try and give it a go, you may even surprise yourself since you are more attached to the instrument nowadays than before.
I am 20 and i just started in september and i absolutly love it😁 i just regret that i didn't began earlier
@@taeyangyb6073 omg same! I started last year in october and I'm 20 now so we're both young adult beginners!
Nakariakov is brilliant. He's impeccable.

Simply the best performance of this piece by anyone ever. Bravo
I personally think Wynton Marsalis plays just as well
Ashey Hall too in my opinion
Timofei dokshizer
성재창

The Master of his instrument absolutely Bravo..

AGraziano Moscato w

Truly amazing! I thought Wynton was the gold standard but now I'm not so sure!
Kevin Ferrie

Outstanding.
Wonderful Sergei!!!

i love
merveilleux !!!
Super !
Amazing !
NOT RUSSIAN BUT ALIEN, BEYOND HUMAN. MIRACLE...
I agree, he may be Russian but his talent is other worldly
I agree but...listen Ruben Simeo...he Is alien
Roland Potel FABULEUX Merci beaucoup
That's the problem. He lacks human musicality. He lacks human nuance. Marsalis is far better.
Will Moffett says the moron who can’t play any instrument whatsoever
AMAZING!!!!!!
Fantástic!!!
Impresionante.
Super
Stellar.
The internet is the only place where you someone and say something negative. This is fantasticly beyond words.
The best in the world!
Best of the best
8 years at least

OK . . I just turned my trumpet into a planter
Oui c est merveilleux ,

26 deaf mutes watched, listened, and then voted on this video!
Prodigio...
One would give their life to play like this. Oh wait, Sergei has given his life to play like this!
I wonder what the music sheet for the trumpet must look like!
Awesome!
q tal tecnica
molto bravo
👍👍👍👏👏👏🥂
Eccezzionale.
👍👍👍
ok but why no one is talking of Andres Segovia in the second violins?
Hamon is flowing through him. Unrelenting heat, BRASS YELLOW OVERDRIVE!!!!!!!!
Is this a Jojo reference on a trumpet video?
What’s with the horn angle? And I was hoping for a double C or at least a high F at the end.. but that was amazing anyway!!
Was in a car accident when he was young; can't do DCI horn angle
Paganini is the man!!!
crazy.... he is from the future far from the present.
Oh, maybe he is from the past far from the present.
only 3 button i dont understand
No need for that silly attempt at sarcasm, in favour of keeping the dignity of this video... I appreciate music as much as I appreciate life, and this is marvelous playing, Nakariakov is the Paganini of trumpet...but that doesn't exclude the fact that there is a fart at 6:31 xD
That wasn't Sergei, but the conductor!
clinical
6:31
Algum outro trompetista toca essa música... Meu Deus impossivel de tocar essa música
6:31 am I the only one who hears a fart? xD
Shit, man... no you are not. It totally ruined the momentum.
Congratulations, you've got very good ear! Besides that there is trumpet playing starting at 0:31
did ya like that?
I played this as my seventh grade solo (a easier version)
0:57
dit vind ik geweldig
The sounds much differ from odinary trampet
Who farts at 6:30?
LOL
@smole133 Right at the end!!!!
La virgen santa
Based on the date in the description, he'd be 28 here, not 25. Communism is always changing dates
It is 25 years from the date when was starts orchestra performed first time not 25 age of Sergei.
6:31 who farted
Bravo!
Que brasileiro?
this trumpeter is better than Marssalis.
