- MEGHAN Markle's speech at the Invictus Games was like an "Oscar ceremony" as the "actress put on a united front" with hubby Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave speeches as they opened the Invictus Games ceremony in Vancouver, Canada, last night.
But royal expert Hugo Vickers cast doubt over the former Suits actress' sincerity.
"It was very much like a sort of Oscar ceremony, wasn't it?," He told The Sun.
"Meghan suddenly leaps onto the stage and says she wasn't intending to say anything, but she was so excited to be back in Canada that she decided to do so.

According to usually reliable source, it was the organisers who insisted that H&M do some work at Invictus this time around instead of just swanning around in several different, expensive outfits. Apparently, we should expect to see more of them. So Yes, the speech was already written before she took centre stage.

Pretty clear what the board's priorities are.
I found out taxpayers pay for their luxury. Isn't it embarrassing to take so much when vets have to pay their own way (I found out this, too). Knowledge really is power since I am done following her every day saga (was also ptsd-ing from it so a bit of prolonged exposure therapy as well) but I broke free. Don't give them that attention & please focus on the vets. If Harry could have one-on-one convo with the athletes and their service, that would've been watched since he's using HIS PLATFORM and he's the royal--the pull! He's the one with a life so different, we'd want to know more & using a God-given platform & an incredible history of grandparents (& King Charles, then Prince Charles who was into nature & the environment long before it was something we now have to think about daily--wildfires, more severe weather, resource shortages--popular or could generate money). Share, indeed. Will not be watching, but instead listening to mm's own words from the past to make sense of HOW she thinks like past predators in my life. Predators who prey on most vulnerable. They're experts in mental health?

Everyone joined in to his wonderful idea, but it was his desire to help his fellow soldiers which was the initial inspiration for the games.

Harry did not establish the games. The Royal Foundation, in co-operation with the MOD established the games. People from the 2012 Olympics organized them. Harry was basically the face of the games.

The IGs were not Bunker Harry's great achievement ! The initiative was a copy of the Warrior Games in the US and it was a Place initiative ! He just rolls up to take the credit.
The warrior games were modelled on the uks Stoke Mandeville games which started in 1948.

Charles can't remove titles as that's the perogative of Parliament, apart from the princely title. But no point in removing that if Parliament are going to sit on their hands. And only Parliament can adjust the line of succession, which if governed by an Act of Parliament. Absolutely nothing to do with the monarch. We removed that type of power from the monarchy during Cromwell's time.

No matter where they go the speech includes how they feel "at home". Her stage performance was simply a way for her to dismiss ANY thought you'd be seeing an alleged child/children they claim they have. She stated how H is working to prove to the U.S. that his visa should stand as he is a U.S.A. asset. It also tries to spin a web of their unity, family ties, love of vets, etc. The Disney Prince will NEVER erase he actions. How can she say how they worked so hard getting ready if she doesn't know the name of any event? You know...that snow/sled thing H did. Laughable. What were the late Queen Elizabeth and King Charles supposed to do?
