Yup it is the main language in Qatar. But one thing about Qatar is that it has diverse culture. Which means, all kinds of people live here (Mostly Indian, Filipino, Pakistan, Srilankan). Qataris are only 20% of the total population. So anywhere you go, you will see people speaking English. And thats something I love here, because you actually get to communicate. If you go for Umrah in saudi, you will realize that most people there speak Arabic only and you can hardly find anyone speaking English. @@HiraMM12334
