i hear so many teenagers say 'edm gives them anxiety and hearing the build makes them vomit' for me dance music takes us out of reality's stress into a higher power, endorphins are so good for us. There's not enough dance music appreciation lately and this song is an absolute masterpiece 💫

I agree, but I'll say this. I sent this song to a few of my friends who aren't EDM fans, and they all felt the same about the track: they felt happy. They felt a certain magic to what they heard, and we all feel that same magic. David Guetta said in an interview that "the problem with a lot of producers is that they put the technical aspect of production before remembering that being an artist is having something to say". For Martijn to be able to create the magic that he does, I think Martijn is a master of having something to say, and then creating the best possible way to say it.

This is Martin Garrix's most genuine musical side that defines his true talent. It has nothing to do with powerful beats or noisy drops, that's something anyone can make and doesn't leave the mark... this does, and it speaks right at your soul 🖤.
Dubvision never ceases to amaze with its melodic skills, best Progressive House duo out there to me. They both were meant to make one epic collab, and here it finally is. But the track wouldn't be the same without Shaun's beautiful voice, which remind me so much of Bonn's soulful vocals in High On Life.

Let me share you my personal story I have with Starlight
My mom was suffering from cancer during 10 long months. I loved her so much... I stopped working in order to take care of her, with the hope that she would be fine one day
I discovered this track last summer; and my mom left me few days after.
Every time I listened to this beautiful track I cried because I felt the lyrics a lot
I fell into a severe depression after her death. Now I start to feel better and I still listen to it every time but now the tears turned into smiles, this track is like a bandage on my heart ❤🩹
My mom is my starlight, my guardian and I promised to join her soon, but first I have to make her proud. I know she's still with me, looking after me and my dad from up there ❤
I will keep listening to it forever because it reminds me of her 🙏
