This military issue version of the Kindjal served Russian armed forces well into the mid-20th century. This curved, double-edge blade was perfect as a close combat weapon. It originated in the Georgian Republic of Russia, but was best known as a Cossack weapon. Features an unsharpened high carbon steel blade with true full tang design. The grip is made of two pieces of hard wood sandwiched around the blade tang and double pinned through. The guard is brass. Includes a wood scabbard with black leather wrap and brass accents.

I've got 5 of those, 4 Qamas, and a few of the modern blades. The Russian Kindjal is the best at raking backcuts to the face and neck! A very fast and agile weapon! Doesn't everyone have this many of them?

It's a really nice little blade, but the handle is _super_ skinny; even in my average-ish hands, it takes little effort to spin it in my hand unless I get a white-knuckle grip on it (which, obviously, is not good).

Earliest ones are from Georgia, more middle Eastern but they are also found in russian history, so shut the fuck up, sit the fuck down and let us adults do the talking

@@LuckyOwI777 No, it is not! It is from Caucasus. Yes, part of the Caucasus is in Russian Federation, but it is not Russia, there are different republics e.g. Republic of Kabardino-Balkari, Republic of Chechnya etc. and they are ethnically different, not Russians
