listened to this on repeat today. it’s always to be associated with my grandmother’s funeral. after seeing my father crying and having to be his rock it’s something I had not had anticipated as part of adulting. seeing all my family that does not usually get along cry in unison was hard. did not cry this entire day. well know I’m crying. thank u sky.

I lost my father when I was 2 years old. I don't remember him, not even for the bit of the second. When I look at pictures of me and him I see a stranger holding me. I don't have any videos of him so I don't know how his voice sounded like. And I still love him tremendously and miss him more than anyone ever. I honestly thought no one could understand me until I have heard this song. Even if it's not completely adequate for my situation. The lyrics describes my feelings better than I can myself.
