The real reason is even simpler You will always need guys on the platform to check the coupling so let them do it instead of developing a millions of euros worth of useless automatisation You will make more money 💰
@@alexandrepezzotti9344 These are the two reasons given above. We keep the same system to be able to couple all the TGVs together (from the PSE of 1978 to the Euroduplex of 2012), nothing says that the Avelia will keep this manual system. The presence of a dockside agent makes it possible to check that the cover is open (avoid destruction of equipment) and that the coupling is complete ... Even if the opening of the cover becomes electronic, it is certain that the agent dock will remain (as in Japan) ... From then on it was given the task of opening the hood ... until now.
France is not a developping country. e have developped trains for decades and our rail network is of a better quality wich allow trains to cruise faster Eventually you will have good train I guess. It just takes time. When we think about it chinese trains for example are much better than americans.
With all that brains and technology in hand, why would the coupling control door opens facing front incase it opens in high speed? That can shift the centre of gravity wouldn’t it?
@@marouenekerfahi9272 we can hope "will not open" what i was thinking, "If Opened" if the door lock somehow opened the preventive design would be the door pivot at front will help the wind keep the door in maximum possible aerodynamic shape and will stay intact. however it is just my opinion. i'm not an engineer. cheers.
in my opinion, if the door opened accidentally at high speed, it won't cause any significant harm but it will increase drag since the airflow is disrupted
Why do you need an extra person to open this doors? A button in the cockpit was state of the art even in 1993 when the TGV-réseau trains were built....

Great video.
Buth..with all this high technology on the train, I dont understand why front doors can not be operated from the driver..
These trains date back to 1978,not sure on the specific date but the oldest ones sre 1978 so they aren't really as modern as you'd think

Aywen tgv je te souhaite une bonne journée à vous deux et toi comment ça marche merci bisous et bonne journée
TGV is the best high-speed train. KTX is very similar to TGV. The TGV looks handsome compared to other high-speed trains.
Same with the ICE 1
it's because few of KTX-1 was made by Alstom and the other KTX-1 was licensed produced by Hyundai Rotem
wonderful attach
Why aren't they connecting the air suppies? Is it done automatically?
Yes. The air connections are in the Scharffenberg couplers.

The TGV RESEAU😀
Interesting, why couple hatch operates from outside of train but not from cabin?
Because the guy would lose his job and therefor the whole country would go on strike...

l'ouvertures des petites trappes c'est le memme principe que pour les avions aux couplage?
Nice! I like it
Wow. Yesss. Awesome video friend.
Could coupling be achieved on the move?
I doubt that. It would need extreme precision and could damage the train, which btw costs millions, so it doesn't worth the risk
Nice👍
