  • I recently spent 2.5 weeks traveling in Senegal, West Africa. I visited old friends in Thiès (where I used to live), I spent time in Saint Louis with my friend's family, and I ended my trip in the capital, Dakar.
Some of my activities that you'll see in this video include: surprising former coworkers at my old office, going on a road trip, getting my hair braided, celebrating the end of Ramadan, and more!
Let me know in the comments- have you ever been to Senegal or West Africa? Would you like to travel there?

Very cool! Thanks for being so real and normal in front of the camera and not trying to hype or act any kind of way about the place. Thanks for showing us a real slice of life!

Hi Natalie, thanks for sharing this video. My wife always say let's get back to Senegal. So nice to see our office in the video. Dakar St. Louis Theis. It's awesome.

Is that fruit like a Durian?

No they're very different! I guess the similarity is that you crack them open and take the yellow pods out, but the maad fruit is small and sour and stringy, whereas durian is big/fluffy/chewy and has a custard/garlicky taste
