No. I am NOT saying that I want to bite into that. No. I am also NOT saying that I wanted to pick up EACH bar and sniff. I am definitely NOT saying that I’ll sniff each color because what if each color smells different…pure academic research. I’m only saying that I am a new sub. Love from Cyprus.
Beautifully done! It’s very inspiring as well. Glad I came across your channel. New subscriber here 😀. Also, looking forward to more of your creations.
Both creative and beautiful at the same time! What amount of water or Lye concentration are you using to be able to create such a design and de-mold in 24 hours?
I'm brand new to soap making and just ordered some ice trays to use for goat's milk soap but I'm curious about using the distilled ice. (or any ice actually) When measuring for the lye, I'm guessing I should measure out my water first, and then freeze it? I know it sounds dumb but I'm wondering if there is a tried and true method for having ice prepped ahead of time that can still be weighed similarly. I bought ice trays that have tiny molds so I wonder if measuring them after they've been frozen will be the same as measuring the water thawed? I am learning that soap making is absolutely a course in chemistry. LOL! Thank you so much for your advice. These soaps turned out beautifully! #newsubscriber!
Also, I can't WAIT to see your channel grow! (I love finding channels with a lower number of subscribers and then watching them blow up!) Keep on posting because you are hella talented!
Using ice makes it so much easier to bring the lye solution down to the optimal temperature so much faster. Weigh your ice first. I use about 80% of my water weight as ice and then pour in the remaining water. The weight of ice is the same as liquid water. And yes, soap is like a chemistry class! Best of luck and hope my videos help!
Hi and thanks for watching my video! I tend to make a little more colorant than I actually need so I can adjust as I add it to the soap batter. For this design I used Purple Reign 1/2 tsp + 1/16 tsp Rose Pink, 1/2 tsp Ultramarine Blue, 1/2 tsp Proud Peacock, 1/2 tsp Radioactive Green and 2 tsp Winter White Mica- hope that helps!
wow....... what a beautiful soap.
THANKS!

Beautiful! Can you tell me where you purchased your planer?
Hey Jackie, thank you! I use a couple different planers - do you know which video had the one in that you are referring to?
