- These choral folk songs and hymns were composed by Namibians and sung by a Namibian choir, Mascato Youth Choir. They are a festival of the Aawambo people's culture, faith and communication. Most were taught and conducted by the late Mrs Ena Venter, founder of the Mascato Coastal Youth Choir.
The Oshiwambo songs were selected from albums recorded by the choir which can be obtained from the choir office or other selected outlets. The pictures used in the slide shows are some choir memories created through the years, of performances, rehearsals and hangouts with the big family.
Follow Mascato Youth Choir on Facebook for more information.
