Speilberg can be given credit for giving the World the definitive movie about extraterrestrial visitation in a most artistic way.

The alien who was pulling Barry out through the kitchen door during his abduction (you can see the alien's arms) was actually the child's real mother. I always thought that was a fascinating bit of trivia.
My 1st husband was the spitting image of Bob Balaban (in the glasses) the map reader! Melinda Dillon born 1939, her last production was a few years ago. Richard lives in San Diego
