    It was so helpful seeing this all broken down. The template is literally my saving grace! I tend to get overwhelmed when I start dealing with practical or concrete matters so this will be invaluable as I plan my book launch

    This template is awesome!! Thank you so much for showing us this.
    I know that we’re still getting to know each other, but if you ever need a “Plan B” editor (since I know you already have an established relationship with your chosen editor), please don’t hesitate to reach out. Ive been a book editor for about ten years and would be honored to help polish and prep your book(s) with you.

    Ah Bethany thank you! This is exactly what I needed right now. I have not set dead lines so everything is seeming to take a LONG time to finish. This will help me have an actual date in mind for my release which will hopefully help motivate me!

    I was both so interested and overwhelmed by this. I found it helpful to pay the most attention to your time estimates for each element, to note those (rather than your detailed calendar dates) and then look at my calendar on my own. I appreciate your experience and orderly nature, very different to my own. ;)

    Thank you so much for this video!! It was super informative and I'm definitely going to fill out that template! Even if I'm unable to stick to the dates I put down (because I'm a slow writer and procrastinate a lot LOL), it'd still be really nice to see the hoped for dates laid out like that and keep those deadlines in the back of my mind.

    Hi Bethany, I tried to buy the five Marketing for Authors the kindle editions. However, I live in Australia and it appears that the kindle edition of your books are not available for sale in Australia. Is this true? Thank you. Love your work.

    • @BethanyAtazadeh
      @BethanyAtazadeh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Gary! Nope, it should be available in Australia - I would check with Amazon on why it's not showing up, because it says available in Australia on my end! :)

    When you do your read throughs do you edit along the way or afterward once you're done? And I didn't realize you could hire an editor or cover designer so soon in the writing process! Do you only use a proofreader and/or line editor, or also a developmental one? I'm noy sure if you need all three or not, or if beta readers and critique partners would be good enough for developmental edits

    • @BethanyAtazadeh
      @BethanyAtazadeh 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I try hard not to edit during the fast read through because it will slow me down, but I make tons of notes and then complete those edit notes and edit many more times afterward :) For me, betas and CPs are a replacement for a developmental editor, and I don't need to hire one, but every author is different and has different strengths!

    How do you order a proof copy without a final cover? Do you just use a temporary image in order to sit get the copy made?

    • @BethanyAtazadeh
      @BethanyAtazadeh 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My covers are done by that point in my personal process, but yes you could absolutely create a temporary cover in KDP very easily. Here's my video on making proof copies: th-cam.com/video/CQCuNyLwZmY/w-d-xo.html and here's my video on creating temporary DIY covers: th-cam.com/video/f5OwvVmfH4Q/w-d-xo.html
