Brian Jones had such a unique way of creating music. His talent brought so much depth to the Rolling Stones’ early sound. A true artist who left us too soon.
As Bill Wyman said, Brian was the person that created the Rolling Stones in the beginning. He chose the music. He chose the name. He was the leader. He signed all the recording contracts, the management contracts, all kinds of things. He made so many records successful. Jones was in fact, the original public face of the band: the surliest and sauciest in press interviews, the most nattily dressed, the most lushly coiffed… and, most importantly, the most musically diverse. “I mean, he was brilliant musically in the early days.
@@martinkent333 In the 5 year period from 1963 to 1968, the Rolling Stones had more hits with Brian Jones then any 5 year period with Mick Taylor or Ron Wood.
I always compared Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones with Florence Ballard of The Supremes, they brought the groups together but found the going tough with fame and fortune.
I loved Brian Jones and I miss him dearly, but his drug addiction and temperate personality were interfering with the band(The Rolling Stones), and they just had to let him go.🎶
Yes he was murdered. Fresh water was found in his lungs during the autopsy, not chlorinated water. - There was a puncture wound on his left side. The size of a needle. - The ambulance wasn’t called until at least 3 hours after his time of death.
Brian was struggling with his butler in the pool for an argument I’m not sure what it was, and couldn’t survive. The butler confessed to his crime while he was dying of cancer in hospital many years later.
No one. Knows what happened to. Brian on that awful day. 11:44 I believe someone does but they might be to scared because of who is behind it. Also there. Is a 75 years put on opening up the coffin which means all would be dead that was involved but God knows the truth when they meet there maker. Brian was truly an amazing musician and stood out from the others fashion and looks…
I do hope we shall learn the truth about his awful end, he truly made the Rolling Stones without him there would be no group. It’s amazing how they they got rid of Brian because of drugs but soon after Kieth was and they supported him and went to France and then tripping on his dad’s ashes. We Brian’s fans still appreciate his genius and talent as well know he would have made great music and have been as popular as the stones perhaps the stones were jealous……
He died over 55 years ago. I read he was drunk and the gardener handyman drowned him in the pool. He was obnoxious and pissed the employee off opening the opportunity for the murder...as the murderer confessed on his own death bed. Why ask, do you have another story?
Brian gave them an inch and they took the mile (and his girlfriend too). But seriously That sums it up there was a definite power struggle it turned out that Keith and Mick had a stronger link
If he had lived, he could have become the first 'World Music' musician, a decade or more before the likes of Peter Gabriel - but that would have depended upon his dealing successfully with all the demons in his life, and his health problems too, of course. Keylock and/or Thorogood killed him before his own demons and lifestyle could do the work - talentless hoodlums scratching out the life of a profoundly gifted but flawed and vulnerable human being.
why dont they say they got there guitars ,clothes ,hair cuts, ideas for songs (there first hit) use of a sitar ect all off the beatles,,they didant come up with anything
Brian Jones, would pick up an autoharp or a flute or a glockenspiel or marimbas, and he would be able to do all of that kind of stuff.” Among the other instruments Jones played were the harmonica, sitar, organ, recorder, cello, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, oboe, and, of course, guitar. He made so many records successful because of that.
