I have been saddled with the responsibility of Making all preparations, but I am stuck cause I don’t where to start from. I visited accra during the summer. I am American and only stayed for 3 days. My boyfriend is from togo so we were there for 5 weeks. I which we could have stayed there longer. I don't speak french or the african dialect so it was so nice to talk to the staff at the hotel!!!! It is sooo Americanized in Accra so i felt more comfortable.

Ghana is one of the few African countries I would consider retiring to. Cameroon is my country and would have loved to retire there but it's on the verge of war and the English side where my family is from is suffering.

I really don’t understand the washer being in the kitchen. Why would you wash your clothes where you prepare food. In the US, there is a separate place/room for laundry where the washer and dryer is.
I have lived most of my life in the uk and now in Ghana for the last ten years - i have always kept my washing machine in the kitchen. It is very common in the UK to do so unless u can afford to have a utility room.
Sorry wanted to add that the clothes get taken into the kitchen in the basket, and then put atraight inside the machine. The clothes do not come into contact with the food counters and rhus no cross contamination unless the air

The name is Knight's court located in cantonments in accra, on airbnb the rent is from 55 dollar for single bedroom and over 100 dollars for double bedroom per night. The developer sold the apartments from 150.000 dollars upwards with the cheapest being single bedroom
